Chapter 139: Moving Mountains and Reclaiming Seas

Adonsa’s body began a violent disintegration from the inside out. Blinding light refracted continuously within the crystal cage, and the terrifying, ocean-boiling heat transformed this tiny space into a boiling soup of particles.

This scene was identical to the previous self-detonation of the condensed nuclear fusion battery.

The puzzled voice of the Prophet of Cylen came through: "How is that possible? That blinder should have been carrying only one nuclear fusion battery!"

Yet Adonsa could not answer this question for the moment, as its body was once again weathered and torn apart by the familiar plasma storm, dissolving into scattered particles within one of the rarest and most dangerous storms in this world.

First time: facing the proton impact cannon of the mechanical Nirvana directly on Earth.

Second time: bathing in the aftermath of tens of thousands of nuclear bombs launched by the Earth Alliance under the control of mechanical Nirvana.

Third time: facing the high-tech nuclear fusion battery's suicide self-detonation at close quarters within a confined Klein bottle.

Observing the macroscopic and microscopic phenomena of atomic collisions over and over again at such close range, the firsthand data Adonsa managed to gather far surpassed what the Earth Alliance had managed to fumble and grope for over many years.

After acquiring Kant's luxurious high-tech legacy, Adonsa's research in the field of atomic energy had achieved a massive breakthrough built on accumulated strength.

Even though stable nuclear fusion energy production remained a difficult challenge, relying on the pressurization and conduction of high-quality nanomaterials was already sufficient to forcibly trigger a small-scale nuclear explosion.

The conversion between mass and energy was the most powerful force before stepping into the next stage of the industrial revolution.

Such an explosion was triggered by Adonsa, but through a device beyond Adonsa's control; thus, it could still destroy Adonsa's physical form and break the seal of sloth.

The Prophet of Cylen watched quietly as this unfolded. The violent energy inflicted massive damage on the crystal cage; tiny cracks shattered continuously, only to be rapidly repaired by the replenishment of psychic energy.

Although this tug-of-war was not an excessive burden, the Prophet of Cylen knew that this cage had lost its reason for existing.

No matter how much it repaired, it was impossible to block the seal-broken Adonsa with such a crude cage.

The golden cage voluntarily vanished. The unrestrained, violent energy surged outward, with light, heat, particle streams, and radiation scattering wildly. If this had occurred in a city of a million people, it would have been enough to paralyze more than half of the electronic equipment.

A grey-red torrent of flesh rushed out from the black hole once again, surging fiercely toward the Prophet of Cylen suspended in mid-air.

However, before reaching halfway, the flesh torrent froze in place as if it were a frozen waterfall, and countless prismatic golden crystals blocked all approaching malice.

"Who do you think I am? I am the Prophet of Cylen, the master of the Light of Cylen. With a wave of my hand, I can move mountains and fill seas, and you are still not qualified to touch me."

The Prophet of Cylen proclaimed, intensifying its power to immobilize the constantly trembling and struggling flesh.

Adonsa's echoing voice came back, refusing to show weakness: "Move mountains and fill seas? Then come and move them!"

The flesh gushing from the black hole showed no sign of diminishing, seeming endless. Instead, a pair of sharp claws grabbed the rim of the hole, desperately pulling it wider in an attempt to make the flesh gush out even more and even more fiercely.

Twisted cracks extended around the perimeter of the black hole, and space itself seemed to wail.

The Prophet of Cylen looked over, a trace of caution inevitably entering its eyes.

Finally, the entire regular circular black hole suddenly split open once again. The space at the edge shattered completely, and the black cracks expanded and extended, turning into a jagged, massive opening, as hideous as a gaping maw leading to the abyss.

"The space within your body is not true real space, but a demi-plane lacking the concepts of space and time. You are forcing it open—can you really bear the backlash of such an action?"

The Prophet of Cylen said indifferently, seemingly with no intention of stopping it.

"Hehehehe." Adonsa only emitted a bizarre laugh.

The Prophet of Cylen snorted.

The collapsing black hole failed to stabilize, and the cracks spread toward the void, like some bizarre creature stretching out its sharp claws.

Adonsa's body squeezed out from every crevice, the grey-red flesh continuously devouring all surrounding matter, expanding its body through dual pathways and swallowing this heaven and earth.

Finally, the fragile space could no longer endure such rough treatment, and a severe collision occurred between the gates of the demi-plane and the space of the conventional universe.

Adonsa said with considerable regret: "So be it. This is enough."

Space's self-repair capability finally gained the upper hand. The cracks in the black hole continuously healed and vanished, and the massive opening was finally compressed back to its original appearance.

Yet while repairing, the aftermath of the spatial tremor acted entirely upon Adonsa.

The grey-red flesh continuously collapsed, vanished, and even decomposed, the intense backlash feeling as though it were about to erase Adonsa directly from this world.

Yet Adonsa's physical form was simply too massive; its enormous mass made this patch of space dense and sturdy, smoothing away even spatial turbulence directly, let alone mere spatial turbulence.

The liberated grey flesh spread out flatly, washing over every inch of land like an ebb and flow of the tide, leaving the original city completely out of sight.

Adonsa stretched its mountain-like body, countless tentacles dancing as if cheering and leaping to celebrate regaining its freedom.

"Little spider, are you ready?"

In front of this living mountain range, the Prophet of Cylen was inferior even to a mosquito, as minuscule as a microorganism.

If Adonsa were to leap at any cost right now, ripples would stir even in a teacup on the opposite side of the planet.

Yet the Prophet of Cylen showed no emotional fluctuation, as at ease as if on a hike, as though the entity before it were not a mountain, but a handful of common soil.

"Oh, I thought we had already begun. I was only giving you a three-minute head start."

"Then continue giving it!"

A giant hand suddenly extended from the amorphous fleshy mountain range, pressing down from the left like the Five Fingers Mountain, frictioning against the air to produce fierce sparks.

Then, without even lifting its eyes, a prismatic shield as wide as a football field materialized out of thin air, forcibly withstanding Adonsa's heavy blow.

Another identical giant hand slammed down immediately from the right, which the Prophet of Cylen blocked with a prismatic shield just the same.

No matter how much pressure Adonsa applied, the prismatic shield remained completely motionless.

The Prophet of Cylen, positioned between the two giant hands, resembled an ant spreading a pair of human palms, presenting a striking contrast in power and size.

The contest between hundreds of thousands of tons of force seemed to effortlessly determine a victor.

Psychic energy interferes with matter through the manipulation of information, yet the scale of this interference is strictly limited by the manipulated variables. Only more powerful psychic energy can cause more drastic changes to matter.

After the Prophet of Cylen truly completed the ritual of civilizational devouring, the historical accumulation of a civilization over thousands or even tens of thousands of years transformed into massive torrents of psychic energy, pouring wildly from a certain golden crystal for it to call upon at will. Even without any technique, it could directly unleash a million tons of force to crush the enemy.

The thwarted Adonsa, however, laughed heartily: "This is much more interesting!"

The entire mountain range suddenly tipped over, pressing down toward that radiant little sun.
