Chapter 82: Never to Be Forgiven!

“Here it comes again!” Yue Longze stared at the wicked giant standing tall among the city’s buildings, the flames of anger once more igniting in his chest.

“I told you, the Victory Squad is unreliable!” Jingwu Masaki said coldly.

As Masaki grumbled, a black dot began to grow larger on the horizon.

“Is that the Atedis?” Yue Longze gazed at the enormous spacecraft, momentarily lost in thought, murmuring to himself.

A deafening crash yanked Yue Longze back to reality—a skyscraper had just been destroyed by the giant!

The immense Atedis was drawing nearer to the evil giant. Rina gripped the controls tightly; there would only be one chance. Even as the ace pilot, Rina felt cold sweat beading on her palms.

Meanwhile, in the TPC base conference room, Danhou suddenly slammed the table.

“So, you’re secretly sending someone to deal with me?”

Everyone exchanged glances, confusion in their eyes.

“Is it Jujian…?” Director Zejing glanced around at those present and suddenly noticed Jujian Hui was missing.

“We must succeed…” Zejing prayed silently in his heart.

Danhou, however, showed no fear, nor did he say more; instead, he smiled, utterly confident in the giant he had created.

“If you want to die, then come!” Danhou laughed cruelly.

The giant continued its relentless destruction of Tokyo, collapsing buildings sending thick plumes of smoke into the air.

“Looks like we’ll have to intervene!” Yue Longze grabbed the Dark Divine Rod, transformed, and charged forward. In an instant, a giant clad in black with silver highlights appeared behind the wicked giant!

“I knew the Victory Squad couldn’t be trusted!” Masaki complained again, then transformed in a flash of light.

“Ultraman has appeared again…”

“Diga will show up too!”

“Wonderful! I knew Ultraman could never be killed so easily!”

People still fleeing for their lives stopped and stared in astonishment at the sudden appearance of the black and silver Ultramen. Once more, hope began to rise in their hearts.

“Hya!”

Yue Longze was the first to lunge from behind, pulling the giant down. The wicked giant, arms crossed, was flipped upside down. The bundled energy beam blasted from its wrists, shooting into the clouds like a blue dragon.

But the evil giant quickly got up, crossed its arms again, and unleashed another barrage of bundled energy beams as if they cost nothing.

“I’ll pilot Unit One to assist the Ultramen!” In the Atedis, Daigu spoke to Deputy Captain Zongfang.

“Go!” Zongfang nodded, giving Daigu a firm clap on the shoulder. “Be careful!”

Masaki and Yue Longze fell back into a bitter struggle. Against the giant’s ceaseless light attacks, the two truly felt powerless.

Onboard Unit One, Daigu set the controls to autopilot, then brandished the Divine Rod and transformed into Diga, appearing on the battlefield.

With a flash, Daigu, now Diga, landed heavily, making the earth tremble.

“Seems I was too hasty with my words…” Daigu muttered in embarrassment. Earlier, he’d said maybe they wouldn’t need to step in—but now, reality had proven him wrong.

“Daigu! Now’s not the time for that!” Yue Longze twisted aside, dodging another beam.

“This time, we need to cooperate with the Atedis!” Quickly, Daigu relayed the Victory Squad’s plan to Masaki and Yue Longze.

“I see…” Yue Longze nodded. “Then let’s work together!”

“We must protect the Atedis at all costs!” He said gravely to Daigu and Masaki.

“No need to tell me!” Masaki retorted disdainfully.

Danhou’s evil giant continued to unleash relentless energy beams at Yue Longze and the others.

“Cover me. I’ll circle behind the giant and restrain it!” Yue Longze called as he dodged another blast.

Daigu and Masaki nodded, quickly gathering their own finishing energy attacks and confronting the giant head-on. Where the beams clashed, ripples of invisible energy pulsed—evidence of their immense destructive force.

Yue Longze leapt behind the evil giant. Just as he thought he’d succeeded, the giant suddenly began to spin at high speed!

Yet the energy beams in its hands did not cease. Like a whirling meat grinder, the deadly beams swept in a 360-degree arc around it.

Yue Longze’s chest armor was struck and he was sent flying, sparks bursting from his chest!

Daigu and Masaki, locked in their beam struggle, were also blasted away!

In the sky, the Atedis was now in grave danger.

A destructive beam shot toward the massive hull!

As a spaceship, the Atedis was not agile enough to dodge such an attack.

“We can’t let it hit…” Inside, Rina gripped the controls with all her strength, sweat streaming down her pale skin as she desperately tried to turn the ship.

Beside her, Xin Cheng and Commander Zongfang grabbed the controls as well, throwing all their strength into evading the deadly blow.

But it was all in vain; the Atedis simply wasn’t agile enough to dodge.

Boom—a thunderous sound erupted, a brilliant burst of sparks lighting up the sky.

Rina and the others shielded their eyes from the glare. When Rina slowly opened her beautiful eyes, she saw a black silhouette standing firmly between the Atedis and the deadly beam!

“Did… the black Ultraman save us?” Rina was stunned for a moment, but her years of combat experience kicked in and she continued piloting the ship to safety.

Yue Longze felt a searing pain in his chest. The destructive energy beam had not only struck his armor, but also hit his energy timer—the most vital part of an Ultraman’s body. The pain was excruciating.

He gasped for breath, his black-armored chest heaving.

Clutching his chest, Yue Longze gazed down from the sky, taking in the state of Tokyo.

The city was on the verge of total ruin.

Fires raged in many places, the ground blackened and strewn with corpses.

Life was so fragile.

Once-prosperous Tokyo was on the brink of annihilation.

“Danhou…!”

Yue Longze gritted his teeth, his fury blazing.
