Chapter Seventy-One: The Strange Giant
Da Gu carefully placed Yi Wu, who was in his hands, back on the platform next to the dazed Adam. They nodded to each other, then stepped forward to fight alongside Yue Longze.
Yue Longze and Da Gu exchanged a glance and nodded, then each took on one of the dinosaur monsters. Yue Longze faced Maru Ponaiza No. 1, while Da Gu naturally confronted Maru Ponaiza No. 2. With Da Gu’s arrival, Yue Longze’s burden was immediately lightened. Dealing with a single monster was a trivial matter for him; he simply needed to be cautious of the neutron bomb inside Maru Ponaiza.
At the right moment, the neutron bombs within the dinosaur monsters had to be sent into deep space, far from Earth, to detonate!

“It seems this is quite the opportunity...” In the grand TPC base of the South Pacific, Director Miyazawa, dressed in a blue uniform, stood with his hands behind his back in his private office. Watching the live broadcast of the battle on the screen before him, he murmured to himself.
Two formidable dinosaur monsters had appeared this time, presenting a perfect chance to clear away the obstacles to his becoming the world’s sole savior! In the dim light, Miyazawa’s glasses reflected an eerie white glow, and a sinister smile gradually crept onto his lips.
“Today, it’s time for me to make my appearance!”

Yue Longze raised his right hand high, his palm glowing. With a heavy chop, he struck Maru Ponaiza No. 1’s vulnerable throat, forcing its massive body to stagger backward.
In contrast, Da Gu’s combat strength was clearly a notch below Yue Longze’s. He shifted into his blue aerial form, relying on his agility to hold Maru Ponaiza No. 2 at bay.
“Azawa, extract the neutron bomb from the monster! Use it to destroy the Naga’s spaceship in outer space!”
As Da Gu relayed this to Yue Longze, he also held off Maru Ponaiza No. 2, preventing the two dinosaur monsters from advancing.
Of course, this conversation between giants was inaudible to humans.
“Understood!” Yue Longze nodded to Da Gu and continued to assault Maru Ponaiza No. 1 with ferocity.
“Hya!”
Yue Longze gathered his strength and delivered a powerful whip kick, sending Maru Ponaiza No. 1 crashing to the ground and raising a cloud of dust.
He immediately pounced on Maru Ponaiza No. 1. The red, circular bomb bay on its chest began to open slowly, preparing to retaliate against Yue Longze, who was atop it.
“Heiya!”
Yue Longze raised his strong right arm, fist clenched, and smashed down hard on the slowly opening bomb bay on Maru Ponaiza No. 1’s chest.
Bang!
The bomb bay was smashed to pieces, debris flying everywhere. Yue Longze then thrust in his left hand and pulled out the red neutron bomb from inside Maru Ponaiza.
He was nervous—after all, this was a neutron bomb! Powerful enough to destroy the entire Earth!
Yue Longze handled the cylindrical, bright red neutron bomb with extreme care, quickly retreating from Maru Ponaiza No. 1 to avoid any struggle that might jostle the bomb.
Deprived of its neutron bomb, Maru Ponaiza No. 1 grew even more frenzied, stamping so violently that the earth trembled and cracked, rocks and soil erupting skyward!
At the same time, Da Gu transformed into his tricolor composite form, gathering blue energy and shooting it at the ground beneath Maru Ponaiza No. 2, causing it to sink deeply into the earth.
Seizing the opportunity, Da Gu leapt over Maru Ponaiza No. 2, now half-buried, and extracted its neutron bomb as well.
Da Gu shot Yue Longze a determined look. Understanding, Yue Longze approached and carefully handed over the fearsome neutron bomb he held.
With both neutron bombs in hand, Da Gu soared into outer space!
His target—the Naga’s spaceship!
Meanwhile, Yue Longze now faced two even more enraged dinosaur monsters—Maru Ponaiza No. 1 and No. 2—deprived of their neutron bombs! Maru Ponaiza No. 2 remained trapped underground and unable to rise, so Yue Longze first intercepted the rampaging Maru Ponaiza No. 1.
Yue Longze resisted using the Murakumo Sword; he was determined not to rely on such divine weapons, but to hone his own physical combat skills!
He aspired to become a martial king like Leo Ultraman—someone who could defeat ordinary monsters with nothing but fighting techniques!
After all, not every monster should be dispatched with beam attacks, since every beam consumed precious energy. For an Ultraman who could only remain on Earth for three minutes, energy was a precious resource!
Yue Longze began sparring with the berserk Maru Ponaiza No. 1—or perhaps using it as a training dummy!
The two gigantic figures darted through the city as Yue Longze continually polished his martial arts.
Unfortunately, such a lumbering monster was of little use for refining his combat skills. Its bloated form meant it was never meant for hand-to-hand combat.
He needed to fight monsters with humanoid forms!
“So be it.”
Yue Longze shook his head, then proceeded to drag the monster toward the still-stuck Maru Ponaiza No. 2. He planned to gather the power of the Dark Zeperion Ray and annihilate them both at once.
Just as Yue Longze was dragging the monster, a sudden, invisible shockwave rippled through the sky, and a dull sound echoed in his ears.
Da Gu had succeeded in detonating the neutron bombs in outer space!
The Naga—destroyed!
“Looks like it’s time for me to step it up as well!”
Since Da Gu had already finished on his end, Yue Longze decided to eliminate the two Maru Ponaizas at once.
“Hya!”
He seized Maru Ponaiza No. 1’s black tail, gathered his strength, and hurled it at Maru Ponaiza No. 2, who was just struggling free from the ground.
The two lumbering dinosaur monsters crashed into one another, tumbling and piling up like a stack of blocks.
“Farewell!”
Yue Longze thought to himself, black radiance flickering as he gathered energy.
Just as Yue Longze was about to unleash his beam, a sharp pain struck his back—he had been ambushed!
He lost his balance and crashed heavily to the ground, the impact thundering across the earth.
Slowly, he got to his feet and shook his head, only to see a completely unfamiliar Ultraman standing before him!
“Who is that...!”
The Victory Team members were even more shocked than Yue Longze.
Another giant had appeared!
“What on earth is going on!” On board Swallow No. 2, Shinjo let go of the controls, baffled and frustrated.
Giants were appearing one after another—what was the reason for their arrival?
Meanwhile, in the South Pacific TPC base.
“I never imagined... it would be Director Miyazawa!” Captain Jujian stared in astonishment at the giant on the main screen.
“I truly did not expect this!” Director Sawai, standing beside Captain Jujian, was equally surprised. The trap they had set hadn’t lured out the true mastermind, only revealing a few people with suspicious behavior.
Director Miyazawa was one of them.
So Director Sawai had secretly placed these suspects under surveillance, never expecting that today Miyazawa would expose himself—and that he had already mastered the power of the giants!
While Sawai was incredulous, he also realized Miyazawa must have accomplices.
Someone like Miyazawa, with no technical background, could not possibly have researched the power of the giants on his own!
“Who could his accomplices be...?” Captain Jujian murmured.
“The crucial issue isn’t who Miyazawa’s accomplices are, but what he intends to do!” Director Sawai said sternly, his brows furrowing deeply as he stared at the giant on the screen.
