Chapter Seventy: Marpanaiza, the Nagaites
Biochemical Electronic Dinosaur—Marupe Neza!
At last, Longze Yue understood: this was precisely the plot from the original story! He vaguely remembered that two dinosaur monsters would appear this time, and inside their bodies would be neutron bombs powerful enough to destroy the entire Earth!
Da Gu would face a formidable challenge in this battle!
Although Da Gu managed to avert the crisis of the neutron bomb explosion in the original story, Longze Yue decided he must keep constant watch on the battlefield this time. After all, someone like him—who shouldn’t exist in this timeline—had appeared, and any butterfly effect could alter the entire course of events.
If things went awry, the neutron bombs would explode!
Everyone would perish, and the Earth would be erased from the galaxy forever!
Longze Yue and the others quickly evacuated the Dinosaur Biological Research Center, and the visitors were also leaving in an orderly and rapid manner.
The resurrected dinosaur monster, Marupe Neza, fortunately did not immediately attack the research center, but instead began advancing toward Tokyo.
The research center was located on the outskirts at the edge of Tokyo, where the population was sparse and the area was mostly woodland.
Here, the threat posed by the dinosaur monster was not great.
But once this resurrected dinosaur monster entered the bustling city, with its throngs of people and diverse buildings, it would pose a grave threat to many citizens.
“Hurry and take shelter!” Horii said solemnly to Longze Yue and Miwako, then, with Da Gu, took the still-unconscious mysterious figure into the Sherlock patrol car.
Before the car started, Da Gu glanced at Longze Yue.
Longze Yue, now clear on the story, remembered that the mysterious woman was actually a dinosaur person!
“And this time, it seems all is being manipulated by aliens…” Longze Yue strained his memory, determined to use his knowledge of the plot to control the situation!
A neutron bomb explosion—truly terrifying!

The large screen displayed Director Zewei, dressed in a blue uniform with distinguished shoulder insignia, radiating the authority of the highest leader.
Director Zewei spoke gravely to the Victory Team in front of the screen: “Our stance toward Earth’s invaders is always resolute! No matter the threat, we will never yield!”
“Yes, understood!” Captain Jujian nodded solemnly, her brows tightly knit.
“Then, Victory Team, I entrust this to you!” With those words, Director Zewei disappeared from the screen.
Just before this, while Da Gu and Horii were investigating the frozen dinosaur, the base had received threats from the alien Nagas!
The resurrected dinosaur was the handiwork of the Nagas!
The Nagas demanded humanity surrender Earth!
—That was absolutely impossible!
“All Victory Team members! Prepare to mobilize!” Captain Jujian ordered, and even Norui, usually responsible for technical analysis and not a front-line member, was deployed!

“Miwako, let’s call a cab to take you home first!” Longze Yue said. They didn’t live in Tokyo, so the monster’s activity shouldn’t affect other cities yet.
“Alright.” Miwako nodded obediently; the situation was urgent, and leaving the city was a wise choice.
The monster was still at the outer edge of the city, so a few taxi drivers were still working.
Longze Yue finally found a waiting taxi, took Miwako inside, told the driver their destination, and the driver, relying on his skilled driving, sped along. With monsters about, there were very few people on the roads, so the driver dared to go so fast.
Through the worn car window, Longze Yue saw two black dots rapidly enlarging in the distant sky.
As the dots drew closer, two streamlined yellow fighter jets appeared in Longze Yue’s view—Falcon One and Falcon Two of the Victory Team!
Twenty minutes later, Longze Yue and Miwako safely disembarked.
It was still that cold, narrow, and dim alley; surrounding buildings blocked most of the light, and the ground was covered with thick snow.
Longze Yue escorted Miwako home; her house was as simply furnished as when Longze Yue had come before.
At the door, Longze Yue placed his hands gently on Miwako’s shoulders and said, “Be careful at home! I have to go to Tokyo again!”
“Why? It’s so dangerous there!” Miwako said anxiously, not wanting Longze Yue to return to that monster-infested city.
“I have reasons I can’t avoid!” Longze Yue shook his head and continued, “Trust me, alright? Miwako!”
He smoothed her slightly disheveled hair, “I’ll come back alive!”
With that, Longze Yue turned to leave.
“Contact me the moment you return!” Miwako called out, her voice strained and desperate.
At her words, Longze Yue turned and smiled warmly and reassuringly at her.

Longze Yue had a hard time finding a taxi—drivers refused as soon as they heard he wanted to go to Tokyo.
The news was broadcasting updates from Tokyo!
When Longze Yue arrived again in Tokyo, he found that another monster, Marupe Neza Number Two, had already appeared!
Both monsters were now in the city center! According to the original plot, Marupe Neza Number One should have been in a dormant state, with only Number Two active.
But now, both dinosaur monsters were rampaging through the city, intentionally or otherwise drawing closer to each other!
“So something has indeed changed…” Longze Yue realized that Da Gu alone would not be enough this time!
The Victory Team had already detected the neutron bombs inside the monsters. If the monsters got too close, the neutron bombs would react, and the whole Earth would vanish!
And Da Gu had not yet appeared!
Longze Yue drew the Dark Divine Light Rod, transforming into Dark Diga in a flash of black light, and rushed to keep the two monsters apart.
Though his strength exceeded that of the monsters, facing both at once and needing to keep an eye on their neutron bombs, Longze Yue still found it a struggle.

“Adam, try to trust humanity!” a gentle, melodious woman’s voice echoed—it was the mysterious woman!
Her name was Imai, a dinosaur person deceived by the Nagas who sought to rule Earth!
Originally, Imai was to be taken by Da Gu and Horii for a full examination by Mayumi, but was rescued by Adam instead.
The Adam she spoke of was the bespectacled researcher at the Dinosaur Biological Research Center whom Horii and Da Gu had met—her lover, and also a dinosaur person!
These dinosaur people had survived the extinction of the dinosaurs and evolved, wandering the cosmos in search of a suitable planet… until they encountered the scheming Nagas.
Persuaded by the Nagas, their gaze returned to Earth, their former home… not realizing they had become pawns in the Nagas’ bid to conquer the planet.
Adam, deeply believing the Nagas and still stubborn, was now relentlessly attacking Da Gu, who kept dodging…
The plot seemed unchanged from the original: Adam unleashed a deadly attack at Da Gu, but Imai threw herself in front of Da Gu to shield him, only to lose her footing and fall from the high building.
“Imai—!”
Watching Imai fall, Adam was filled with regret—why hadn’t he listened sooner and stopped attacking, tried to trust humanity?
From such a height, even their dinosaur bodies would not survive the fall!
As Imai fell, Da Gu leaped after her, transforming into Diga to save her…
