Chapter 139: The Visual-Kei Youth
Those three, whom Yue Longze dubbed "traffic lights," were slouching toward him with cigarettes dangling from their mouths and fierce expressions on their faces.
"What’s this? A robbery?"
Before Yue Longze could ponder further, the three "traffic lights" surrounded him with sinister grins.
"See, I told you we should hold people up in this secluded alley. Works every time!" the green-haired traffic light—a punk youth—exhaled a smoke ring with a look of immense pride.
The other two, one red-haired and one yellow-haired, looked at him with admiration and gave him a thumbs-up. "Boss is a genius! You’re the best, Boss!"
A strange feeling stirred within Yue Longze. "Even if I’m injured, it shouldn't be this easy to rob me, right? And rob an Ultraman, at that?"
However, Yue Longze suddenly found himself interested; he wanted to play along with these three punks. Having spent so much time in the Land of Light, he now found himself on an alien Earth and truly wanted to exchange some "human sentiments" with the locals.
"May I ask, are you planning to rob me?"
Yue Longze’s tone was weak, and with his left arm encased in a thick plaster cast, he looked like a fragile, bookish youth.
"No duh!" The red-haired one was arrogant, clearly eager to show off in front of his leader, the green-haired one.
"Since your left arm is already busted, if you’re smart, hand over all your money! Otherwise... hehe..." The red-haired one rubbed his palms together with a leering grin, fancying himself quite the thug. To Yue Longze, however, he just looked incredibly sleazy.
Suppressing a laugh, Yue Longze said, "My friend, look at me. Do I look like a wealthy man?"
The group sized him up for a moment, then exchanged glances. The red-haired one stepped forward. "Whether you have money or not, I’ll know once I give you a pat-down!"
Yue Longze was taken aback, blurting out instinctively, "Are you hitting on me?"
The red-haired one froze, realizing his slip of the tongue. Even the yellow and green-haired youths couldn't help but chuckle, though they held it back to save face. After all, they were in the middle of a robbery—they couldn't afford to break character!
But the red-haired one grew angry, snarling, "Damn it! I think your mouth needs a good slap!"
He rolled up his sleeves and swung his rough right hand toward Yue Longze's face. Yue Longze, standing before a towering streetlamp, dodged the red-haired youth's supposedly fierce strike with ease, despite his lingering injuries. The momentum carried the red-haired youth’s heavy hand directly into the iron pole.
*CLANG!*
He couldn't pull back in time, and his fleshy palm collided violently with the metal.
"Ooh—ah! Ow!" The youth doubled over, clutching his throbbing hand and wailing in agony.
"Oh my, why is this red-haired fellow so clumsy?" Yue Longze said, feigning surprise.
"You’re an embarrassment!" The green-haired leader, tired of the incompetence, stepped forward. He pulled a fruit knife from his waist, its blade glinting with a cold, sinister light. "Listen here, kid, I’m done talking. Hand over your money and anything else of value, or I’ll gut you! And then I’ll have my way with your woman!"
His tone was sharp and vicious. Yue Longze’s expression hardened. *A lunatic... threatening to kill people over nothing! And wanting to touch my woman?*
The green-haired youth, seeing Yue Longze standing still, assumed he had successfully intimidated him. In reality, he didn't have the guts to kill anyone; at most, he was just a petty thug.
"You still have a chance to change your mind!" The green-haired youth flourished the knife with practiced, fluid motions, clearly a seasoned pro at intimidation.
Yue Longze lost his interest in playing along; the youth's words had truly angered him. *Want to touch my woman? I’ll break your backside first!* He despised such societal dregs. Seeing the youth's adept handling of the knife, Yue Longze decided it was time to teach these three arrogant "traffic lights" a lesson.
*Sweep away the filth, build a harmonious society!*
Since he had decided to educate these three punks, Yue Longze’s expression darkened. He said in a low voice, "I told you! I don't have any money!" He paused, then added, "Why don't you hand over your money instead? I haven't had dinner yet!"
"Screw you!" The yellow-haired youth, seeing Yue Longze suddenly act so brazen, rushed forward to beat some sense into him. The red-haired youth, having recovered, joined in along with the green-haired leader.
They intended to teach Yue Longze a bloody lesson. Unfortunately, the reality was the exact opposite of their expectations. The seemingly frail Yue Longze suddenly became ferocious. He took on all three of them with just his right hand.
Yue Longze handled their attacks with ease. Their moves were amateurish, relying solely on brute force and aggression. How could they possibly stand against someone who had survived real battles and been baptized in blood? Yue Longze’s constitution had long since transcended that of an ordinary human.
With a few swift, stinging slaps, Yue Longze struck each of the three punks. Humiliated and furious, they still didn't realize who they were dealing with.
Yue Longze sneered; it was time to get serious.
Seconds later, he had pinned all three to the cold concrete, where they wailed in pain.
"Boss! Big Brother! Please! Stop hitting us! Spare us!" The green-haired leader was the first to beg, his pathetic, groveling demeanor absolutely contemptible. Seeing their leader give in, the yellow and red-haired youths had no choice but to follow suit, pleading for mercy as Yue Longze continued his relentless pummeling.
