Chapter 131: The Downfall of the Dark Five
As the closest friend of the fallen Desrey Nebula warrior, the Groza Galactic being was utterly enraged. Gazing at his companion’s gruesome death, his body trembled uncontrollably with fury.
He was absolutely livid. He had not cared much about the Hippolyte and Imperial warriors who had died earlier; after all, he had never been close to them.
But to see a longtime friend die like this was infuriating beyond words.

Yue Longze’s gaze was icy as he said coldly, “So now you know what it feels like to lose a companion?”
The Groza Galactic being froze. His eyes darkened, but he said nothing.
“You few of Belial’s lackeys know perfectly well how many wicked, unconscionable things you have done! You’ve made plenty of people experience the pain of losing their companions!”
Yue Longze continued angrily. Then, once again employing his Ghost Step, he charged toward the Groza Galactic being with an elusive, phantom-like movement.
His fist slammed into the Groza being’s soft abdomen. There was no suspense at all—the tremendous force sent him flying, and another Specium Ray immediately shot after him.
The Specium Ray, which should have been enough to take his life, was blocked by the Mephilas being, who rushed in from the side to shield him.

White smoke rose from the Mephilas being’s crossed forearms. He gasped for breath, his chest heaving violently. Though he was the strategist of the Dark Five, faced with such overwhelming strength, he was utterly helpless.

“Lord Belial... I hope you can avenge us...”
The Mephilas being already knew that he would almost certainly die today. As an expert in cosmic invasion, it seemed that his life was about to come to an end.
“Whoosh—!”
Seeing that his Specium Ray had been blocked, Yue Longze said nothing.
He once again charged toward the Groza Galactic being at astonishing speed, while the Mephilas being beside him failed to react in time.
His right fist blazed with light as he concentrated all his energy into it. Once this punch landed, it would surely take most of the Groza being’s life.

The Groza Galactic being cried out in pain and collapsed to the ground, his body convulsing incessantly. His life force grew ever weaker, while the scorching magma flowing across the ground began to wreak havoc upon his body.
Before long, the Groza Galactic being was completely covered by the crimson magma, reduced to a man of molten lava.
“I... believe... Lord... Belial... will... surely... avenge... us...!”

Yue Longze exhaled slowly. The infamous Dark Five had actually been wiped out by him alone. That should count as an impressive achievement, even in the Land of Light!
“But Belial... what exactly is going on...?”
Yue Longze was deeply puzzled. These were Belial’s trusted subordinates, yet Belial had simply watched them die at his hands without lifting a finger.
Everything about this situation told Yue Longze that something was wrong.
He could clearly sense Belial’s presence on this volcano-covered planet.
“There!”
Yue Longze turned his gaze toward the tallest active volcano on the planet. A sharp glint flickered in his piercing eyes.

Yue Longze hovered above the peak of the tallest volcano. The surging heat erupting from its summit made his body feel faintly scorched.
The temperature of this volcano was extraordinarily high!
Relying on the superhuman vision of an Ultraman, Yue Longze searched through the churning waves of crimson magma.
Soon, he noticed something unusual within it.
At the very heart of the volcano, a strange black speck was faintly visible, wrapped in countless layers of magma. It was extremely well concealed and nearly impossible to detect.

“Belial is inside the magma!”
Yue Longze was startled. The magma’s temperature was astonishingly high; even the skin of an Ultraman warrior would suffer terribly if immersed in it.
Yue Longze scratched his head. He simply could not understand why Belial was soaking in such scalding magma.

“Could he already be dead?”
But Yue Longze dismissed the thought the very next moment. He could still feel Belial’s presence, and it was immensely powerful. How could he possibly be dead?
“Hey! Black Belial! If you’re a real man, come out and have a proper fight with me!”
Yue Longze roared at the top of his lungs, not caring whether Belial could hear him.
“You, Belial! Are you dead in there, or what? Why aren’t you saying anything?”

Yue Longze continued hurling abuse at him, rattling off every filthy insult he knew. He put every earthling method of cursing to excellent use.
After cursing for a while and receiving no response from Belial, Yue Longze finally gave up. He sighed languidly.
“Damn. I came all this way to get beaten up, and he won’t even oblige me...”

Yue Longze simply hovered in the air with his arms folded.
He was waiting—waiting for Belial to emerge.
“This is the first time in my life I’ve ever been this reckless, and you, Belial, refuse to indulge me!”
Yue Longze continued to complain.
“But I’m going to wait until you come out, no matter what!”
He soon entered meditation again, calming his mind and stilling his thoughts.

Once he had quieted his mind, he had sensed fluctuations in the volcano’s energy!
The active energy within the volcano was steadily diminishing!

Yue Longze understood at once. Belial was absorbing the volcano’s energy!
Belial was already stronger than Yue Longze in his current Dark Form. If he absorbed the power of the molten rock and grew even stronger, then this battle would truly become impossible. Yue Longze would be crushed to death without the slightest chance.
Even recklessness had its limits!
He had not come here to die for real. He had come because, although Belial was stronger than him, the gap between them was not impossibly vast.
But if Belial became even stronger, then Yue Longze would truly be walking to his death.
