Chapter 113: The Strongest Spear and the Strongest Shield
"What nonsense are you spouting!"
"Whoosh!"
Zero's aura erupted violently, silver radiance swirling around his body as his light flared brilliantly.
Zero—Shining Form!
"My training in the subspace was not in vain!"
With his color patterns and markings completely transformed, Zero's presence was now immensely powerful.
"This... how is this possible!"
The Kyrieloid God was shocked. His calculations had failed; this overwhelming aura was, for a fleeting moment, slightly even surpassing his own.
Silver light flowed across Zero, emitting a sacred atmosphere.
"Hah!"
Zero threw a swift punch, and the Kyrieloid God reacted just as quickly, crossing his arms to block. The situation turned rapidly, with the Kyrieloid God pushed slightly onto the defensive.
Zero’s attacks were swift and fierce. He was anxious. He knew his mastery of the Shining Form was still insufficient; although deeper than before, it was far from perfect. He could only maintain this state for about three minutes.
The battle between the two quickly reached a fever pitch. The Kyrieloid God had truly not expected such hidden power within Zero. If this continued, he realized there was a high probability he would be defeated. Zero, however, was burning with impatience; his opponent was too strong. Even in his Shining Form, he could not completely crush him, only gain a slight upper hand. After all, the true power of the Shining Form did not lie in raw combat strength, but in its freakish ability to reverse time.
...
On the other side, the battle between Yue Longze and Belial grew increasingly intense. Their martial arts skills were pushed to the absolute limit, the surface of the planet cracking under the shockwaves of their clash, leaving the surroundings in utter ruin.
The remaining three Dark Heavens were evenly matched with Mirror Knight and the others. Jean-bot, however, relied on his formidable strength to eliminate many monsters and mass-produced Darklops, causing their numbers in the vicinity to plummet.
...
Deathcium Beam!
Luminous Zeperion Ray!
The violent collision of their beams caused the surrounding space to ripple, the intense shockwaves mercilessly blowing away the few remaining monsters and mass-produced Darklops.
"What a formidable little guy!"
Even Belial couldn't help but marvel at Yue Longze. Since when had the Land of Light produced such a powerful Ultra Warrior? Yue Longze, meanwhile, fought with growing fervor, the blood of an Ultra Ancient Warrior boiling within him.
...
Suddenly, Mirror Knight and the others below received a message. It was from Zero.
He was warning them never to come to the Land of Light, as there was great danger. The members of the Ultimate Force Zero possessed a specific method for long-distance communication, similar to the Ultra Sign of the Land of Light.
Mirror Knight and the others instantly lost their will to fight, their minds consumed by concern for Zero's safety. Knowing there was a tiger in the mountains, they chose to head toward the mountain regardless. This was their brotherhood; if their brother was suffering, they had to go, no matter the danger.
They quickly disengaged from the battlefield and relayed the message to Yue Longze nearby. Yue Longze was stunned, but he immediately ceased his assault. He and Belial were evenly matched; neither could do anything if the other chose to leave.
...
"Ha, stay and fight if you have the guts!" one of the Five Dark Kings, the Groza star alien, taunted as Yue Longze and the others retreated.
Belial watched their departing figures with his sinister, crescent-shaped eyes.
"Is he going to be another nemesis like Zero?" Belial mused to himself. "But... so what!"
Belial shook his head. When the great reckoning of the universe finally arrived, all who did not submit would perish—including himself.
...
Yue Longze, Mirror Knight, and the others flew rapidly toward the Land of Light, their hearts heavy. What kind of crisis could be so severe that even Zero could not resolve it? Was it... Yuda? Or perhaps... the legendary Kyrieloid God, capable of challenging the Evil God Gatanothor?
Regardless of who it was, Yue Longze knew his current strength was insufficient to overcome it. He viewed his ability to stand toe-to-toe with the evil warrior Belial as nothing short of a miracle. They flew at full speed, and it didn't take long before they arrived at the Land of Light.
...
They landed heavily on the crystal-like surface of the Land of Light. What greeted them were the bodies of Ultra Warriors strewn about in disarray. Zoffy... Father of Ultra... and the patrol squad members who had blocked his path before... all lay there, severely wounded.
Zero was being pinned firmly to the ground by the Kyrieloid God, his color timer blinking, his aura fading. The Kyrieloid God had initially thought he had encountered a tough opponent, but after a few minutes of combat, he realized Zero's energy was rapidly weakening. This delighted the Kyrieloid God; his despair turned to renewed vigor, and he quickly subdued Zero, who was still unable to fully control his Shining Form.
...
"Kyrieloid!"
Yue Longze’s milky-white eyes stared fixedly at the muscular figure, burning with rage. The Kyrieloid was his nemesis.
"I think you misunderstand. I am the great Kyrieloid God!" A sharp glint flashed in the Kyrieloid God's eyes. "It seems you are the one I have been looking for!"
...
"The Kyrieloid God?!"
Yue Longze was shocked. It seemed his earlier guess had been correct. In the current situation, the only entities capable of rendering Zero helpless were either Yuda or the legendary Kyrieloid God.
Yue Longze tensed his entire body, his focus absolute. Beside him, Mirror Knight and the others realized that the figure before them was no easy mark.
"Then what do you mean by that? That I am the one you are looking for?" Yue Longze asked, maintaining his guard.
The Kyrieloid God merely smiled without answering, his hands clasped behind his back, appearing remarkably calm. Yet, to Yue Longze and the others, his demeanor was utterly revolting.
...
"Once I capture you, you shall have your answer."
With that, the Kyrieloid God shot forward like a jet, his right hand thrusting out, blood-red claws bared, aiming straight for Yue Longze’s throat.
"Hah!"
Yue Longze swung his light sword, striking the black, razor-sharp claws lunging at him.
"Clang!"
The black claws were tougher than Yue Longze had imagined, and the force behind them was savage. The golden energy blade merely deflected the strike slightly. The claws, originally aimed at his throat, struck his armor instead. Even with the protection of his armor, Yue Longze felt a surge of intense pain.
"Such powerful attack force!"
Yue Longze’s expression grew grave as he suddenly understood. The Kyrieloid God’s ability to challenge the Evil God Gatanothor must stem from this extreme offensive power. And the Evil God’s most prominent trait was his extreme defensive power.
To put it simply—it was the clash of the strongest spear against the strongest shield. That was why the Kyrieloid God dared to challenge the Evil God!
