The ground shook violently, a deep buzzing filling the air as streaks of black light emanated from the patterns etched into the stone slabs, weaving a string of mysterious runes in the air. Masaki Keigo's eyes blazed with fervor, his grin twisted and wild. “Hahaha, at last, I can evolve into a giant!”

The commotion deep within Lurua was swiftly sensed by the three Dark Giants, who had only just awakened.

“A human?” Camilla glanced back, a flicker of anger and contempt appearing on her face.

Since her resurrection, her will had already enveloped the entirety of the Lurua ruins, yet some rat had managed to slip through the cracks and infiltrate the depths. More than anger, she felt an acute sense of humiliation.

“Hitler, go and kill him!”

Among the three, Hitler was the fastest Dark Warrior; the task of exterminating a human could not be left to anyone more fitting.

“No problem…” Even before he finished speaking, Hitler transformed into a streak of violet, disappearing to Camilla’s right.

As one of the most powerful giants of the ultra-ancient era, his speed was a terrifying Mach 7. In just a single second, he could cover more than two thousand meters.

Upon entering the inner sanctum of the ruins, Hitler immediately spotted Masaki Keigo, wreathed in darkness.

Rather than striking at once, he paused, a low, excited chuckle escaping his lips. Thirty million years of sealed slumber had left the raging blood in his veins hungry for violence. Now, he was eager for a fight to vent his pent-up frustration—why would he stop a human from gaining more power?

Unaware of Hitler’s presence behind him, Masaki Keigo drew forth a man-made divine light rod he had long prepared, channeling all the darkness into it.

“With this, I become a god!”

He pressed the button on the rod. Its wings sprang open, unleashing a surge of formidable dark energy. Enveloped by this power, Masaki Keigo’s body began to grow, his appearance shifting rapidly before the naked eye.

When the dark radiance faded, he had become a giant dozens of meters tall. His skin was ashen gray, streaked with black, his armor reminiscent of Tiga’s, and his pale blue eyes brimmed with wicked desire.

Astonished, Masaki Keigo gazed at his own hands, then felt his face. Clenching his fist, he sensed strength without end.

“Is it finally over? I was getting impatient,” a voice suddenly rang out from behind.

Masaki Keigo spun around abruptly, pupils contracting.

In his field of vision, a giant unlike Tiga was approaching at a deliberate pace. From his outline and features, Masaki Keigo instantly recognized him as the giant who had emerged from the ruins obliterated by the TPC moments ago.

He hesitated for a heartbeat, then smirked. “You’re just in time. Let me test my new strength on you!”

He raised his arm, instantly gathering purple energy in his palm, and fired it at Hitler.

“Heh.” Hitler snorted in disdain, not even bothering to dodge.

Bang—

The energy burst against his chest, producing little more than a few sparks, with no real harm done.

“This can’t be!” Masaki Keigo’s eyes widened in disbelief. The power he had struggled so hard to obtain had been so easily brushed aside, a blow to his confidence.

Scrambling, he raised his arm and, imitating Tiga’s pose, unleashed a blast of dark Zeperion energy.

He simply couldn’t believe the opponent could withstand even his ultimate move.

Faced with a giant’s finishing attack, Hitler dared not take it head-on. Yet this level of assault—did the human take him for a fool?

The derision in Hitler’s eyes deepened. With a casual sweep of his arm, he sliced the devastating beam cleanly in two, letting it pass harmlessly by on either side and shoot into the distant ruins.

“What!” The sight left Masaki Keigo deeply shaken. Even a fool would realize now that his adversary’s power exceeded his by an immeasurable margin.

“How is this possible?!”

Watching Hitler so effortlessly neutralize his attack, Masaki Keigo’s composure finally crumbled. His face turned pale, cold sweat pouring down his forehead.

As he floundered in panic, Hitler suddenly accelerated, appearing before him in a flash and kicking him high into the air.

Bang—

Just one kick felt to Masaki Keigo as if he’d been struck by a meteor, his entire body racked with agony, his consciousness nearly shattering.

But it was not over yet.

A cruel, icy smile curled on Hitler’s lips. He vanished, then reappeared above Masaki Keigo, driving his foot violently into the giant’s chest.

Crack!

“Ahhh—!”

With the sound of shattering ribs, a shrill scream echoed through the ruins.

The tremendous force sent Masaki Keigo plummeting from the air at great speed, but as he fell, Hitler appeared below in a ghostly blur and delivered another savage kick.

Bang—

Masaki Keigo was launched aloft once more, his body soaring skyward, as Hitler again vanished from sight.

Bang, bang, bang, bang… bang, bang, bang!

Above the ruins, Hitler’s form was invisible, but the relentless sound of boot meeting flesh and Masaki Keigo’s ever more twisted body bore witness to his presence.

With a final thunderous kick, Masaki Keigo plummeted like a meteor, smashing into the ground and blasting a crater a hundred meters wide.

Now, his pupils were unfocused, his mind clouded—he was not far from death.

Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined that, after finally gaining the power of a giant and surpassing humanity, he would be beaten so soundly before even having a chance to bask in his new glory.

Gazing at the half-dead Masaki Keigo sprawled at the bottom of the crater, Hitler stretched lazily, bored, and complained, “How dull. I didn’t even finish my warm-up.”

Masaki Keigo’s body twitched, the blue light fading from his eyes.

At that moment, Hitler suddenly raised his hand and injected a surge of dark energy into Masaki Keigo’s body.

Instantly, the man who had been on the verge of death sprang to his feet, as if newly invigorated. Even his injuries seemed to vanish in a heartbeat, with no pain at all.

Stunned, he heard Hitler’s voice: “Your skills are trash, but you’ll do. From now on, you’re my errand boy.”

“Errand boy?” The veins on Masaki Keigo’s forehead bulged, but when he met Hitler’s oppressive gaze, he shrank his neck and nodded frantically like a pecking chick. “Yes, sir, I understand…”

“Hmph!” Hitler snorted coldly, finally showing a satisfied smile. After all, his old lackeys were long gone; ruling the world couldn’t be left to just the three of them. A few more lapdogs would make things much easier.

“All right, follow me.” With a beckoning gesture, Hitler turned and flew toward where Camilla and Daram waited.

Masaki Keigo dared not hesitate and hurried after him.
