The bodies of the Amperaian and the Four Dark Heavenly Kings reformed before their very eyes, condensing in mere seconds amidst the surging energy until their physical forms were restored. The Yapoolian touched his own body in disbelief, his pupils contracting in shock. He was an interdimensional being—he could have revived himself by harnessing resentment, even without a physical body. Yet this mysterious figure had simply waved his hand, and all five of them had been reconstituted in an instant. What unimaginable power was this?

With a snap, the Amperaian clenched his fist. Even encased in armor, he could feel the reality of his own flesh. For a moment, he was utterly at a loss for words. Suddenly, his gaze sharpened, and he reached out with his mind to probe Tregear. But all he sensed was an unfathomable, boundless ocean—he could discern nothing of its true depths.

A chill ran through the Amperaian’s heart. If even he could perceive nothing, it meant Tregear’s strength surpassed his own by at least three levels. In other words, Tregear was at least a Level Four Cosmic Being!

The realization sent a tremor through the Amperaian’s body. Yet, thinking of the Ultimate Battle Device, he steadied himself with a deep breath and turned to the Four Heavenly Kings. “Let’s go. To the Valley of Flame!”

The Four Dark Heavenly Kings shot wary glances at Tregear before hurrying to follow. The Valley of Flame lay beneath the Monster Graveyard, so the five reached their destination swiftly. As soon as they neared the cave entrance, a wave of searing heat crashed over them. Instinctively, the Amperaian swept his cloak to shield himself; the others were not so fortunate and were scorched red on one side, crying out in pain.

With no other option, they retreated to a safer distance.

“With your current power, you cannot enter,” Tregear’s voice drifted over, calm and unhurried. “To set foot in the Valley of Flame, one must possess immunity to fire.”

The Amperaian’s eyes narrowed, his voice low. “Mebius?”

The seal on the Valley of Flame had been set by the King of Ultra himself; only an Ultra Warrior from the Land of Light could possibly pass. And among them, only their recent adversary, Ultraman Mebius, wielded the power of flame.

“Exactly,” Tregear’s voice echoed again. “Find a way to bring him here. I am eager to see your performance.”

The Four Heavenly Kings exchanged uneasy glances. At last, Mephilas braved himself to ask, “My lord, with power such as yours, why do you not retrieve the Battle Device yourself?”

A pointed question. The Amperaian’s eyes lit up, and he too looked skyward. “That’s right. If even you cannot claim the Ultimate Battle Device, how could we possibly succeed?”

Tregear did not answer, but instead unleashed a terrifying, overwhelming aura. Instantly, the entire Monster Graveyard shook violently, as if on the verge of collapse. The Amperaian and the Four Heavenly Kings were crushed flat to the ground, their eyes nearly bursting from the strain.

Struggling, they raised their heads to stare at Tregear in horror, their pupils trembling uncontrollably. It was as if, in that moment, the figure before them was not a man, but some ancient primordial beast, gazing down upon ants.

Dark energy writhed around the Amperaian, but no matter how he struggled, he could not break free from the invisible shackles. Panic gripped him as he fixed his black eyes on Tregear. With nothing but the pressure of his aura, Tregear had rendered him utterly helpless. His power was certainly above Level Five Cosmic!

There were ten levels among Cosmic Beings. Below Level Five, one was a Cosmic Being, but beyond Level Five, the body would evolve to another plane—known as the Ultimate Lifeform.

This meant the mysterious figure before them, like Reiblood, was a legendary Ultimate Lifeform!

At this thought, the Amperaian gritted his teeth, ruthlessly suppressing his earlier schemes. Yet, if this was truly an Ultimate Lifeform, why did he not retrieve the Ultimate Battle Device himself? Could it be… he feared offending the King of Ultra?

A violent tremor ran through his black eyes. The King of Ultra was an Ultimate Lifeform, famed as the legendary guardian of the Land of Light, but rarely did he intervene. Even tens of thousands of years ago, during the Ultra War, he had seldom acted. Yet the Ultimate Battle Device was sealed by the King himself—breaking that seal would certainly draw his attention.

Damn it! The cunning of this man was terrifying. The Amperaian did not fear the Land of Light, but to offend the King of Ultra… the entire Dark Universe might be eradicated.

A shudder passed through his body, cold sweat breaking out on his skin. Under the wary, fearful eyes of the five, Tregear finally spoke. “Of course I have the strength to retrieve the Ultimate Battle Device. However…”

“However what?” the Amperaian pressed, anxious. There was no time for hesitation—if they provoked the King of Ultra, they might not even survive as souls.

Tregear did not respond, but lowered his gaze, his voice soft as a verdict. “Light and darkness are of equal value. If I act, it would be meaningless.”

With those words, Tregear slowly faded from view, leaving the Amperaian and the Four Heavenly Kings utterly baffled.

“Your Majesty, are we truly going to retrieve the Ultimate Battle Device?” the Yapoolian asked.

The Amperaian rose to his feet and, after a moment’s thought, replied, “No matter who he is, he is beyond our means to resist. We have no choice but to comply.”

He was indeed an emperor, but before an Ultimate Lifeform, his own power was utterly insignificant. With the King of Ultra on one side, and an Ultimate Lifeform on the other, no matter whom he angered, the outcome would be disastrous.

Still, since this mysterious figure opposed the Land of Light, the choice was clear. The Ultra Warriors were, after all, their common enemy.

Without delay, the Emperor acted with his customary decisiveness. “I have only just been revived and need time to recover my strength. Return to the Dark Galaxy at once, and have our subordinates spread word of the Monster Graveyard’s fall.”

“Yes!” The Four Heavenly Kings dared not disobey and withdrew swiftly.

Leaving the Monster Graveyard, Tregear did not rest. Instead, he crossed space and arrived at Zarab Star in the Eighth Galaxy. At the sudden intrusion, Zarab Star immediately sounded the alarm. Within seconds, eight Zarabians radiating terrifying auras appeared before Tregear. Judging by their energy, all eight were stellar-level powerhouses!

“Who are you?”

“What business do you have on Zarab Star?”

To their demands, Tregear’s lips curled in a faint smile. “No need for alarm. I have heard that your king was once the foremost warrior under Reiblood, and I wished to meet him.”

One Zarabian sneered, “You don’t even dare show your true face, and yet you boast so shamelessly!”

As his words fell, he unleashed a surge of energy, firing a beam sufficient to annihilate a planet. Tregear made no move; only a trace of pity and regret flickered in his eyes as he looked at the Zarabian.

There were better ways—but why choose the path of self-destruction?
