Volume 1, Chapter 150: 999
However, the name Tregear left all of them looking puzzled.
Alien Empera's already furrowed brow deepened even further, clearly showing his displeasure.
Although he favored Tregear, the fact that the fellow had provoked a faction possessing an Absolute Lifeform without even a word of greeting meant he was taking too little notice of him.
"Yapool!"
"Your subordinate is here!"
"Go at once and bring Tregear back!"
"Yes!"
Acknowledging the order, Yapool hurriedly backed out of the grand hall.
Titan, naturally unwilling to waste any time, turned and vanished into a flash of golden light.
The moment he departed, a fierce tempest was hurled from the hand of Alien Empera, slamming ruthlessly into the remaining Three Heavenly Kings.
"废物!" (Trashes!)
The Three Heavenly Kings were instantly blasted away, tracing three long trails of blood through the air before finally crashing down near the main entrance. They scrambled up in a pathetic state, not even daring to draw a full breath.
Meanwhile, Yapool had already boarded a light-speed spacecraft and rushed toward the sensed location of Tregear.
On the other side, Planet D60 was suddenly subjected to an assault by the Magma Aliens.
Several massive cosmic warships descended from the sky, killing everyone in sight and destroying everything they could.
The Phantom Beast Fighters were dispatched at once to halt the chaos.
Among them, naturally, was Tregear.
Originally, he had no desire to go, but Master Reiting had told him that this too was part of his cultivation.
Thus, the following scene unfolded.
The Magma fleet, which had previously dominated the skies, was suddenly swept by an azure tornado, and almost instantaneously, they fell one by one.
The Magma Aliens wreaking havoc below stared in utter shock at this spectacle, their eyes splitting in rage.
"What is happening?!" a fierce roar echoed from the rear of the army.
The crowd parted to reveal an Alien Empera clad completely in armor.
Watching the vessels constantly plunging from the sky, he was consumed by fury.
Yet at that very moment, the flames of those exploding ships surged upward, transforming into crimson dragons that viciously pounced upon the Magma army on the ground.
Rumble... rumble... rumble...
Each fiery dragon descended like a meteorite, and wherever one struck, it blasted a bottomless black crater into the earth.
The panic-stricken Magma Aliens were either burned alive or crushed to death, plunging into total chaos in an instant.
"Admiral Volgan, we are suffering heavy casualties. Perhaps we should retreat first," a Magma female with braided hair panicked as she retreated to the armored Alien Alien Empera.
Several other Magma Aliens who had narrowly escaped death gathered around, echoing the same sentiment.
The Alien Empera addressed as Admiral Volgan hesitated for a moment before finally nodding. "Very well, we retreat!"
Before leaving, he did not forget to hurl a harsh threat: "Phantom Beast Fighters, just you wait!"
The moment Volgan's voice trailed off, an icy tone immediately followed: "You interrupted my cultivation here, and you still want to leave? Did you ask my permission?"
"You... who are you!" Volgan's expression turned to one of stark terror in an instant. Though he was merely being choked by the neck, he suddenly had the illusion of being dragged into hell.
And the person before him was a demon god capable of crushing the life out of him at any second.
Even more terrifying was that from the moment this individual appeared, he could not gather even a shred of power, making even the attempt to struggle an idle dream.
"Who sent you?" Tregear repeated his previous words, his tone chillingly harsh. The cold glare flashing in his eyes made Volgan feel as though he had fallen into a ten-thousand-year-old ice cavern, his entire body trembling and cowering uncontrollably.
Such a terrifying gaze... Just who is he!
Volgan was gripped by extreme dread. He would never have dreamed that such a formidable existence could possibly inhabit this planet... Didn't that bastard Diavolo say the strongest of the Phantom Beast Fighters was only at the stellar level?
"I'll speak... I'll speak..." Volgan's courage had completely shattered, and he stammered in panic, "We heard that the Phantom Beast Fighters fetch a high price on the black market, so we thought about abducting them to sell at auction."
Human trafficking was nothing unusual in the universe.
Many extraterrestrials and cosmic factions were practically engaged in this trade.
Female aliens, in particular, sold very well on the market.
Following them were monsters and items such as monster eggs.
Monster eggs, in particular, were practically priceless and unavailable even for those with money.
Therefore, Tregear was not particularly surprised by Volgan's answer.
"Very well, then." Tregear tightened his grip slightly, grinning, "In that case, go die!"
"No... Ah!"
The plea for mercy had barely left his lips before it transformed into the most wretched scream in the world.
A wisp of dark miasma surged from the cracks of the hand gripping Volgan, rapidly spreading over his entire body and engulfing him completely.
And when the dark miasma dissipated, Volgan's figure had vanished entirely.
"Lightning White Tiger Fist!" Wang Xiao's fists moved like lightning as he swiftly dispatched the two enemies in front of him. Turning back just as he intended to tell everyone to be careful, he instead witnessed the entire process of Volgan's death and was struck dumb, left utterly speechless.
The few surviving Magma Aliens were likewise frozen in place, their near-bursting pupils staring blankly at the Admiral who had vanished from Tregear's hand. They felt a bone-chilling cold spread from the soles of their feet straight to the crown of their heads, making them forget even how to flee.
Tregear cast a sideways glance, and a wave of searing heat instantly swept outward from the surrounding roiling flames, forming a storm that completely consumed the remaining Magma Aliens.
"So... so powerful!" Regulos, who had been standing at the back the entire time, swallowed hard. Finally unable to hold back anymore, he stepped forward and asked, "Junior Brother Tregear, just what is your level of power?!"
Hearing this question, the previously blank expression of Dias suddenly tightened, and he too fixed his gaze on Tregear.
Yet Tregear completely ignored them. Having finished off the remaining Magma Aliens, he walked away toward the return path of his own accord.
"Sigh, Junior Brother is still as aloof as ever," Regulos sighed dejectedly, his face full of lingering resentment.
"His strength is probably not inferior to Master Reiting's." Wang Xiao walked over, his eyes holding not only gravity but also a trace of deep concern.
When Tregear first arrived on D60, he had already displayed extraordinary spatial powers.
Yet today, he had unexpectedly revealed the powers of wind and fire elements as well.
His mastery over the wind, in particular, was not the least bit inferior to Feng Buque's.
One had to know that those were elemental powers!
And the fire... was likely far stronger than that person's as well.
A figure flashed through Wang Xiao's mind, followed by a low sigh as he waved a hand. "Alright, now that the Magma Aliens have been defeated, let's head back quickly as well."
