Volume 1, Chapter 132: Defeating Diablo

At this moment, Kengo was undergoing rigorous training. His mentor was none other than Ultraman Ribut, the one who had saved him previously. In his desperate bid to fully master the power of the Eternity Core, Kengo disregarded his own injuries, pushing himself through the training despite his wounded state.

Elsewhere, Akito of GUTS-Select had deduced the key to unlocking the true power of the Nursedessei through their previous battles: Absolutian particles. To this end, he organized his team to install an energy absorption device as quickly as possible, waiting only for Diavolo to reappear.

The Dark Giants were not idle either. Carmeara, disguised as a human, had single-handedly infiltrated the site where GUTS-Select was setting up their equipment. Her goal was the same as the team’s: Diavolo. Of course, if she could also drag Tartarus—who had shown her such disrespect—down with him, that would be even better.

"Trigger’s wave pattern confirmed. We can begin."

Receiving the message from Akito, Himari Nanase and Tesshin Sakuma, stationed at the site, immediately began their preparations. Unbeknownst to them, a young woman in black was watching them from behind.

"I see," Carmeara murmured to herself, a cold sneer forming on her fair face. "I hope your plan goes off without a hitch."

Not long after, a golden rift appeared once more. Lured by the energy signature of Trigger, Diavolo slowly stepped out from within.

"Now!" Akito roared, pulling the trigger he had been clutching tightly.

On-site, Tesshin and Himari pressed the buttons on their devices. Instantly, a distorted beam of light shot from the apparatus, striking Diavolo squarely in the chest.

"!?" Diavolo frowned. "What kind of petty tricks are these?"

Because the energy waves were so weak, he didn’t bother to shake them off immediately, curious to see what the humans were up to. Seizing this chance, Captain Seiya Tatsumi of GUTS-Select promptly ordered his team to use their Hyper Guns, firing vibration waves designed to restrain their target.

*Whoosh!*

Several beams fired simultaneously, hitting Diavolo and pinning him firmly in place.

But could the methods of mere humans truly subdue an Absolute Lifeform? Indeed, a sneer curled on Diavolo’s lips as he tensed his arms, preparing to break free.

Suddenly, two figures manifested out of thin air, grabbing him from left and right, holding him tight. Before Diavolo could react, a whip of light lashed out from behind, coiling around his neck.

"What!" Seeing that his captors were the Dark Giants, Diavolo roared in fury, "Have you all forgotten our covenant!"

"Hmph!" Carmeara’s voice rang out from behind him. "I don’t care about that. Kengo Manaka, who has become Trigger, is mine to kill."

"Why are the Dark Giants here?"

The scene unfolding before them nearly made the GUTS-Select members' jaws drop. They never expected the Dark Giants to assist them. Captain Tatsumi was momentarily stunned, but he quickly let out a low laugh. "Whatever! They’re enemies either way. Everyone, return to the Nursedessei immediately!"

"Understood!"

Constrained by the trio of Dark Giants, Diavolo finally began to panic. The human device was continuously draining the energy from his body. Yet, more than that, he felt an overwhelming sense of rage. As a warrior of the Kingdom and a legendary Absolute Lifeform, he had never suffered such humiliation.

Before long, the Nursedessei had completed its energy absorption and immediately ascended, switching into battle mode. Seeing their goal achieved, Carmeara wasted no time, signaling Darrgon and Hudram to retreat. After all, Tartarus was still out there; if he were to arrive, their fate would be sealed. Not daring to hesitate, Carmeara summoned a veil of black mist and vanished along with Darrgon and Hudram.

The moment he was freed from their grasp, Diavolo whipped around in a rage, unleashing a thunderous Ultra Distant Fist. But the three Dark Giants were already gone, and his strike hit nothing but air, slamming into the ground and erupting into a violent roar of flames.

At that moment, a light projectile struck him in the back, exploding on impact.

"Humans!" Diavolo was utterly incensed, his voice dripping with murderous intent. "Daring to steal my power—today, I will make this planet perish!"

As he finished speaking, his only response was a hand-fired light blast from Trigger.

*Bang!*

The blast detonated against Diavolo’s chest in a cloud of smoke, but he did not retreat a single step, dismissing the attack entirely. However, Trigger had clearly come prepared, which only deepened Diavolo’s focus and compounded his fury.

"Let’s settle this, Diavolo!" The moment he landed, Trigger didn't hesitate, utilizing the Glitter Key to switch into his Glitter Trigger Eternity form.

Amidst the blinding golden radiance, a flash of pure white light emerged alongside him—it was Ultraman Ribut from the Land of Light.

"Perfect, I’ll finish you both off!" Diavolo roared, his power surging a hundredfold. He thrust his Ultra Distant Fist forward with the force of a collapsing mountain.

On the bridge of the Nursedessei, Captain Tatsumi inserted a key into the slot and commanded, "Fire with everything we’ve got!"

"Let’s go!"

Ribut and Trigger exchanged a glance, their bodies glowing with brilliant light.

"Glitter Zeperion Ray!"

"Super Nursedessei Cannon, fire!"

"Galaxium Blaster!"

The three beams converged, slamming into the incoming fist and shattering the energy projection instantly, then surging toward Diavolo with undiminished force.

"What!"

As his attack was pulverized, Diavolo’s eyes widened, his pupils constricting as his muscles began to spasm and tremble violently. He had never dreamed that as an Absolute Lifeform, he would be defeated so humiliatingly on such an insignificant planet.

The next instant, his vision was swallowed by the three streams of light, which completely engulfed his body.

*BOOM!*

An explosion ripped through the air, and Diavolo’s silhouette, along with his final, defiant roar, vanished forever into the flames.
