Planet Jona.

Due to the havoc wreaked by the King of the Kyrieloids, the planet was currently undergoing reconstruction. Inside the hospital, Varelu and two others gathered around a bedside. Galuna, the younger brother of Garm, had regained consciousness and was listening intently as his brother spoke of Tregear. His eyes were filled with hope and a touch of curiosity, as if he, too, yearned to meet the person his brother spoke of so often. Varelu and Magna quietly slipped out, leaving the time to these brothers who had finally reunited after more than a hundred thousand years.

The space before them rippled, and the figure of Tregear emerged. Varelu and Magna froze for a moment before bowing their heads in unison, calling out, "My Lord."

Tregear’s gaze swept over them, and he issued a command that was unnervingly calm, yet sent a jolt of terror through them both: "Assemble the army. I am going to raze the Land of Light to the ground."

He did not want to wait any longer. Ultraman King had already intervened and would likely pool all available strength to deal with him specifically. If he did not act now, he feared he would gradually be forced onto the defensive. The definitive clash between light and darkness could not be delayed.

Varelu and Magna raised their hands simultaneously, their voices trembling as they replied, "Yes, my Lord!" They had waited a long time for this day.

Without further ado, Tregear teleported away. When he reappeared, he found himself on a sunny planet filled with an aura of profound tranquility. The vegetation was exceptionally lush, and the sky glowed with brilliant, radiant light—it was like a paradise on earth.

Tregear faltered, the destructive energy he had been gathering in his hand dissipating bit by bit. This planet was the legendary home of the Warrior of Compassion, Ultraman Cosmos. He had come here specifically to eliminate Cosmos. Yet, the gentle atmosphere drifting through the air made it impossible for him to strike. It was simply too beautiful—a thousand, ten thousand times superior to the Land of Light. The sounds emitted by the aliens and monsters he saw were filled with joy; there was no wailing, only the sense that they were all living for a better tomorrow. There was no greed, no tyranny, not even a trace of resentment. In the entire universe, such a thing was absolutely impossible to encounter.

Despite being of different species, they coexisted in perfect harmony. Here, there seemed to be no barriers, no distinction between so-called good and evil. Although Tregear had dispersed his power, the fluctuations he had caused still caught the attention of many monsters. They looked up at Tregear, and the cries they let out were not declarations of war, nor expressions of dissatisfaction toward a stranger; they were greetings filled with goodwill.

Thump, thump, thump.

Footsteps approached. Tregear tilted his head slightly to look at the Ultra warrior walking slowly toward him. His entire body was colored in shades of blue and silver; at a glance, he looked no different from the Blue Tribe warriors of the Land of Light. However, the overwhelming power radiating from him allowed Tregear to identify him instantly: Ultraman Cosmos.

"Who are you?" Cosmos stopped, gazing at the intruder with confusion.

"Tregear..."

Those four short words sent massive waves through Cosmos’s previously calm heart.

"You are Tregear!" Cosmos’s tone deepened, and his expression grew visibly tense. Clearly, he had heard of him.

"Indeed," Tregear chuckled. A flash of red light flickered in his eyes, and he appeared instantly before Cosmos, gripping him by the throat and lifting him high into the air. "Though I have no desire to kill you, I cannot allow complications to arise. Please, just die."

"What did you say!"

Cosmos’s pupils dilated. Before he could react, a burst of explosive energy slammed into his abdomen.

*Bang!*

In an instant, Cosmos’s body disintegrated into particles of light and vanished into the air. Tregear lowered his hand, but he did not leave immediately. Instead, he flew into the sky and cast a barrier over the planet. This barrier would prevent any external species from invading. Naturally, the creatures inside would never be able to leave, either. Tregear was not imprisoning them; he was protecting them. Protecting this... prototype of a future universe.

Tregear turned his gaze toward the direction of the Land of Light. "Ultra race, it is time for you to exit the stage of history."

...

News of the Plasma Galaxy assembling its army reached the ears of the Land of Light. In the meeting room of the Inter Galactic Defense Force, every Ultra warrior was frantic, frantically voicing their strategies for response. Father of Ultra sat at the head of the table, his face clouded and uncertain.

Just moments ago, 80 had sent a report. He stated that Planet Jura was shrouded in a mysterious power he could not penetrate, let alone make contact with Cosmos. On the surface of that power, a hideous, giant eye was manifest. Anyone could guess that this was Tregear’s doing. It was unfortunate for Taro, who had only just emerged from his confinement, that he now had to face such a situation.

Looking at his son with a pained heart, Father of Ultra spoke, "The great war is imminent. This time, the fate of our entire Land of Light is at stake. However, there is no need to worry too much. Ultraman King will personally deal with Tregear, which means our objective is the rabble of the Plasma Galaxy. If we can suppress them, we will have essentially won."

"But..." Seven stood up and said, "From what we currently know, the Plasma Galaxy possesses three universe-level combatants. Combined with the alien races that have defected to them in recent years, their stellar-level forces are at least as numerous as ours. If we truly go to war, I fear we will not have the advantage."

"You are right," Father of Ultra acknowledged. "But it is not we who wish to start this war; it is Tregear. We have no choice but to fight with our backs to the wall... This concerns the peace and tranquility of the entire universe!"

Zoffy stood up and spoke slowly, "Now, let me announce the battle plan. If anyone has suggestions, feel free to add them. We must ensure there are no slip-ups."

The others nodded in agreement. Without hesitation, Zoffy took out a draft and read aloud, "As we all know, the Plasma Galaxy’s greatest strength lies in those three universe-level kings. In our Land of Light, the only one capable of solo combat at the universe level is Zero. This means we must face the other two."

"No, only one," Taro interjected. "I have already sent Titus to invite Joneus. His strength is no less than that of an average universe-level combatant. I believe dealing with one of the three kings will be well within his capabilities."

"Joneus?" Father of Ultra asked in surprise. "The strongest warrior of U40?"

"Yes," Taro nodded. "I once had the honor of meeting him. I believe that in the face of this crisis, he will not stand idly by."
