Chapter 131: Will You Take the Out I'm Giving You or Not?
Page (1/3)
Tang Zhichu certainly didn’t believe that Su Yuanchao succeeded purely because of his work. To put it bluntly, Su Yuanchao was a businessman, and Yu Hua was one as well. Tang Zhichu didn’t believe Yu Hua wouldn’t have his eye on Su Yuanchao. Even if Yu Hua didn’t interfere with the outcome of the stage showdown between himself and He Shuyuan, if they intended to, the balance would gradually tilt back to Qi Ping’s favor.
Why did Tang Zhichu think Yu Hua would ruin the platform’s operation? Because one’s position determines one’s perspective and approach.
Tang Zhichu hadn’t had much direct contact with Yu Hua, but enough to know—just producing a show to add some shine to Penguin Video? Would Yu Hua really care about that? Impossible. Besides, he himself was already with DY; having another like Yi Yun was perfectly normal.
The musicians backstage might not have noticed yet, but more and more of their singing videos were appearing on DY, gaining increasing traffic. There was someone behind pushing this forward.
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Tang Zhichu suddenly put his arm around someone.
Qiu Zhen’s smile stiffened. “Haha, hehe, congratulations, Little Tang, you’re really something!”
Tang Zhichu smiled back, “Brother Zhen, you’re amazing too. Without you, how could I have these two stages today?”
Qiu Zhen replied, “Ah, um... I don’t quite get it, but anyway, you’re awesome. Drinks tonight? My treat?”
The crowd was initially teasing, but the older ones gently pulled the younger ones back, and then everyone fell silent.
Tang Zhichu was tall—1.88 meters—and had put on weight over time. When serious, he was quite intimidating.
Many thought Tang Zhichu was joking, especially with so many cameras around.
But some of the older musicians noticed something was off, as several cameramen quietly turned their lenses elsewhere.
Those who caught this detail were stunned. Tang Zhichu already wielded that kind of influence? Not only did no one stop him from causing trouble, but the cameras didn’t even dare to film.
Tang Zhichu’s hand rested on Qiu Zhen’s shoulder. Qiu Zhen’s career had gone smoothly, and he was quite cunning, but he’d never encountered a scene like this. Who in the entertainment circle dared to act this way?
Qiu Zhen tried to struggle but was held down by Tang Zhichu.
“Of course we’ll drink. The more, the merrier. I’ve long admired the godfather of idols, Teacher Sun Zhe. Brother Zhen, how about an introduction?”
After a week of brewing rumors about Tang Zhichu’s showdown with He Shuyuan, not only musicians but even their responsible producers knew what was going on.
Tang Zhichu stirring up trouble for Qiu Zhen was expected.
But no one had dared to imagine it happening like this.
Shen Jianxin originally wanted to hold Tang Zhichu back but held back after hearing Tang’s words. He also stopped Bai Xiwei beside him.
Sig simply stood by Tang Zhichu’s side, his face flushed and neck tense with excitement.

Qiu Zhen was dumbfounded and stopped struggling altogether.
The timing was perfect; everyone was still stunned that Tang Zhichu had beaten He Shuyuan and Tianhe Entertainment at this moment.
It was as if he carried an idol aura—once he made a move, everyone was shocked.
Meanwhile, the Vanguard Alliance hadn’t even recovered. Since Qiu Zhen had been the one to initiate this showdown, even Sun Zhe secretly wished for Qiu Zhen to suffer a setback.
“What? Brother Zhen, you don’t want to help me with the introduction? You won’t help with such a small matter?” Tang Zhichu teased.
Qiu Zhen’s expression finally darkened. Half-forced by Tang’s arm around his shoulder, they headed toward the Vanguard Alliance.
It was only about ten steps from the entrance to the Alliance’s spot, but each step felt like a thousand pounds to Qiu Zhen.
The curious and complex gazes made him feel as if he were completely exposed.
Should he break free? He didn’t have the strength, and Tang was so tall; if he fought back and lost, it would only get worse.
He was one of the Tianhe trio; Tang had just debuted. If this got out, it would be a huge scandal. Better to endure.
He Shuyuan had just lost—it was Qiu Zhen’s chance. Caution, caution, caution!
Countless thoughts flashed through Qiu Zhen’s mind during those ten steps.
When they reached Sun Zhe, who was in his forties and had seen worse, he remained calm.
Yet, Sun Zhe was equally puzzled. Did Tang Zhichu have such a high status with Yu Hua? From the moment Tang put his arm around Qiu Zhen until now, no staff had stopped them.
This made Sun Zhe realize one thing: He Shuyuan’s loss today was truly justified.
Sun Zhe and Tang Zhichu locked eyes, neither speaking.
After a moment of silence, Tang Zhichu said, “Brother Zhen, introduce me.”
Qiu Zhen was stunned. What the hell was there to introduce?
But he couldn’t refuse. If he didn’t, it would look like Tang Zhichu was bullying him. If this scene got out, he’d never be able to survive in the industry.
Running away wasn’t an option—too many people were watching.
He had to play along, even if it felt like being bullied—it at least looked harmonious.
“Teacher Sun, this is Tang Zhichu.” Qiu Zhen began.
Before he finished, Tang Zhichu finally let go.
They had been at the manor for a long time but rarely exchanged even pleasantries.
Facing each other now felt quite unusual.
“Teacher Sun, please forgive me for the interruption. I’m Tang Zhichu, a junior. It’s an honor to meet you,” Tang Zhichu said with a smile and extended his hand.
After he spoke, the once icy atmosphere warmed suddenly.
Several people with shocked expressions gradually relaxed, then exchanged looks, shaking their heads in admiration, their eyes shining.

This young man was truly extraordinary.
At just the right moment, he confronted Qiu Zhen openly, placing all the pressure on him. Looking at Qiu Zhen’s stunned expression, it was clear this lesson was a heavy one.
By having Qiu Zhen stand before Sun Zhe and reconciling with the humble posture of a junior, the main concerns were resolved. Someone had taken the blame, and an escape route was offered. Would Sun Zhe accept it?
If not, he’d face everyone’s awkward gazes and ongoing discussion about the match.
If he accepted, he had to admit defeat—this time, he lost.
But this handshake truce meant others at the scene would hardly revisit this match’s controversy because Tang Zhichu stirred the pot. The production team would surely communicate with the musicians, and the episode wouldn’t be overanalyzed.
Sun Zhe’s face showed amazement for a few seconds. He had produced countless shows, encountering many troublemakers, but never one who stirred conflict to resolve it so gracefully.
He slowly stood up, extended his hand, and said, “Where’s the sincerity in just talking? With all those points, you can surely afford a hot pot feast, right?”
Sun Zhe’s words eased the atmosphere once more.
Tang Zhichu again slung his arm over Qiu Zhen’s shoulder. “No problem. Tonight’s on me, Brother Zhen. You set the standard. Use my points.”
Only then did Qiu Zhen come to his senses. He looked at Tang Zhichu with a complicated expression and nodded, “Alright. I’ll tell the production team to spend your points.”
“Don’t forget the drinks,” Tang added.
Upstairs in the director’s monitoring room, Yu Hua, wearing headphones, watched the screens before him. After a long while, he stretched.
Several people stood behind him, initially there to report trouble downstairs.
But through the screens, they saw Sun Zhe and Tang Zhichu sitting together.
What the hell was going on?
They had just been taken down on stage—despite Yu Hua’s preparations—and now this?
Yu Hua turned and said, as if questioning himself, “Why do I feel like this kid is better at playing the game than I am?”
The staff exchanged looks, uncertain whether to shake their heads or nod, offering only forced smiles.
“I was initially thinking about how to save face for Sun Zhe. Now it’s taken care of. Damn, if I cooperate with this kid, I hope he doesn’t screw me over.”
