Yi Beidou strolled through the city streets like an ordinary person.

The situation in northern Myanmar was highly complex, and agents of the Vanguard Group might be lurking anywhere. If he had maintained his original physique and appearance, he would have stood out like a crane among chickens, likely exposing himself to opponents before even locating his target and giving rise to unnecessary complications.

Yi Beidou was well aware that he was not invincible in this world; otherwise, there would have been no need for him to study martial arts in Donghua. He could have simply crossed the ocean and struck directly at the other side.

As a great statesman in Donghua once said: despise the enemy strategically, but take the enemy seriously tactically.

"Hey, buddy, where are you from? Looking for some excitement?"

Even after altering his physique, Yi Beidou's innate aura still felt out of place in this city. Shortly after entering, he was spotted by local street thugs wandering about, who attempted to strike up a conversation with him.

However, the moment these men drew near Yi Beidou, they were suddenly overwhelmed by an intense, bone-chilling cold. It felt as though even their brains had frozen over, and by the time they regained their wits, there was no trace of anyone around them.

"What the hell..."

Coming back to their senses, the men could not help but shudder violently.

As the saying goes, those who commit no misdeeds have no fear of ghosts knocking at their door. Among those scraping by on these streets, how many had clean hands?

Encountering such bizarre phenomena in the dead of night was enough to fill anyone with panic.

"Let's go, get out of here first. Tomorrow we're going to the General Temple to get some peace amulets," the leader said, drawing a deep breath.

Yi Beidou drifted through the city like a hidden phantom, melting into the shadows or blending into the crowds.

Whenever anyone cast a curious glance his way or attempted to approach him, they would feel as though a ghostly wind had swept over them, its chill freezing their very thoughts.

If he were to wander through a city in this state for any length of time, it would undoubtedly give birth to entirely new urban legends and ghost stories.

Guided by his Heavenly Demon perception, Yi Beidou pressed forward, drawing ever closer to the Oledo Building.

Before long, he arrived not far from the structure, concealing himself within the shadows of a street corner. Gazing up at the edifice, his eyes locked onto a specific floor.

He could sense that the most threatening target was located precisely on that level.

"Found you."

Yi Beidou muttered softly to himself.

The next instant—

*Crack! Crack!*

A series of sharp, explosive sounds erupted from his bones as his folded frame uncoiled, instantly restoring him to his original appearance.

With a calm expression, Yi Beidou flashed out from the shadows of the alley, rushing toward the Oledo Building like a ghost.

However, his destination was not the heavily guarded main entrance, but rather the weakly defended rear zone.

"Who—?!"

The two security guards stationed at the back of the building merely saw a flash of shadow before a wave of bone-chilling cold washed over them. Their minds went completely blank, and a moment later, they lost consciousness entirely.

Instead of shattering a window to force his way in, Yi Beidou planted his feet and leaped directly onto the exterior wall. Utilizing the tiny gaps in the masonry like an ape or a spider, he rapidly scaled the side of the building.

Meanwhile—

One kilometer away from the Oledo Building, inside an ordinary three-story residential house, the curtains of a window facing the structure were tightly drawn. Yet upon closer inspection, one could spot the dark, anti-reflective lens of a telescope protruding through a crack in the fabric.

Inside the room were a Caucasian couple in their thirties.

On the surface, they were corporate employees dispatched to be stationed in northern Myanmar, but in reality, they belonged to the Special Intelligence Department of Northern Bear.

Donghua was not the only nation keeping a close eye on the Vanguard Group.

Utilizing special European intelligence networks, they had already pinpointed the Oledo Group as the Vanguard Group's Southeast Asian regional headquarters, maintaining covert surveillance in search of an opportunity.

Even as a mere branch office, the data, intelligence, and experimental specimens it housed possessed immense value.

"Representatives from all five major factions in northern Myanmar have entered the Oledo Building. It seems to be related to the incident in Donghua. With five super-soldiers perishing in Donghua's Yunhai Province, this must be a period of weakness for the Vanguard Group's forces here. Perhaps we can find a way to make a move," the female white operative whispered.

"According to intelligence, the president of the Oledo Group is likely one of those most 'perfect' super-soldiers. Our forces in Southeast Asia are too weak; acting rashly is out of the question," the male white operative replied, keeping his eye glued to the telescope.

"Perhaps we could find a way to leak the Oledo Group's intelligence to Donghua?" the female operative suggested.

"That is indeed an option, but the Oledo Group maintains close ties with the five major factions, which are all backed by local armed militias. Donghua can do nothing without deploying a massive army. They will likely just push out some expendable pawns as usual, allowing the enemy to simply change their name and continue hiding.

"As for those grandmasters who have achieved physical sanctification, they certainly pose a threat, but I doubt Donghua would let such figures easily risk themselves in foreign territory while the Vanguard Group's forces are present. No one can predict what might happen..."

The male operative shook his head slightly. Before he could finish his sentence, however, a look of utter disbelief washed over his face, as if he had just witnessed something impossible through the lens. He couldn't help crying out, "What the hell is that?!"

Clearly visible through his telescope was something ascending the exterior wall of the Oledo Building at astonishing speed. In the shroud of night, it looked remarkably like an oversized spider.

Upon closer examination, he realized it was unmistakably a human being.

A human being?!

Climbing a modern skyscraper at the speed of a competitive free-climber?!

"What's going on?" the female operative asked, frowning.

"Someone is attacking the Oledo Building. They look Asian—possibly one of Donghua's super-soldiers!"

Following a brief moment of shock, the male operative reacted instantly.

Only a super-soldier who had achieved physical sanctification could accomplish such an inhuman feat.

"What?!"

The female operative's pupils constricted. Snatching up the telescope resting on the table, she shoved aside the curtains and stared directly in the direction of the Oledo Building.

Elsewhere—

*Beep! Beep! Beep!*

Alarm klaxons blared inside the Oledo Building. Not only was the facility heavily guarded, but security cameras equipped with three-hundred-and-sixty-degree coverage eliminated all blind spots, monitored by personnel around the clock.

In the face of such advanced modern technology, silent infiltration was practically impossible.

Yet, Yi Beidou had never planned on infiltrating silently in the first place.

He was well aware of his own capabilities.

As long as he eliminated all his targets before they could react, the alarms would be nothing more than background music, entirely devoid of threat.

At this very moment, inside the building's conference room—

Mr. Guo and the representatives of the five major factions were still gathered around a table lined with test tubes filled with a glowing blue serum.

"Vial Number Seven. When administered, it enhances various human physical attributes to a certain degree, though it does come with a few 'minor' side effects. I assume none of you present mind such trifles," Mr. Guo said with a smile.

The eyes of all five representatives locked onto the vials, gleaming with greed.

Plunged as they were in a war-torn region, they understood perfectly that martial power was the foundation of survival. With a sufficient quantity of biological serums to cultivate an elite troop, everyone knew what that implied.

As the woman in the *qipao* reached out to pick up a vial of the blue serum, the sudden wail of the building's alarms froze her movements mid-gesture.

"What is happening?!"

Everyone in the conference room sprang instantly to their feet. The woman in the *qipao* happened to be facing the direction of one of the conference room windows.

Her pupils constricted violently, and her heart nearly stopped beating.

Clearly visible outside the conference room window was a human head peering in from the outside.

This was the damn seventeenth floor!!
