Chapter 6: Who Are You!

At the Serene Teahouse.
Chen Fan had asked Fu Ankang for his location via WeChat and arrived at a private room in this upscale teahouse.
“President Cai will be here soon…”
Fu Ankang, who was giving instructions to his assistant, smiled as he saw Chen Fan walk in.
“You actually came? Was it Xueyue who sent you?” Fu Ankang’s proud lion-like demeanor softened and became somewhat restrained at the mention of Fu Xueyue.
“Something like that,” Chen Fan nodded slightly. “Anyway, I’m here to save your life.”
“Save my life?”
Fu Ankang laughed.
Assistant Xiao Li beside him couldn’t help shaking his head.
“Your way of currying favor with Chairman Fu is really foolish.”
Chen Fan simply fixed his gaze on Fu Ankang and said calmly, “I have a partnership with Fu Xueyue. She asked me to save your life, but I still want to ask you one thing…”
“Do you really need saving?”
It’s hard to reason with a damned ghost.
If Fu Ankang truly wanted to die, Chen Fan wouldn’t have the gall to help.
Fu Ankang hesitated, then chuckled, “Heh, today I’m meeting with Cai Zeming, a representative from the Leap Group. You can listen in.”
“If Xueyue really likes you, you’ll definitely get involved in company affairs eventually.”
As a prospective father-in-law, Fu Ankang was truly incomparable to Jiang Yueshan.
But unfortunately, he and Fu Xueyue only had a transactional partnership.
“Heh…”
The door to the private room opened, and Cai Zeming entered accompanied by a man with a thick beard, dressed like a monk.
Why say he looked like a monk? Because Chen Fan could tell that this guy’s hands were already in the “flower-picking” gesture, ready to cast a mind-confusing spell.
“Chairman Fu, I’ll get straight to the point.”
Cai Zeming approached, arrogance written all over his expression. “The Twin Peaks project—five million, you transfer it to me.”
“Five million!”
Xiao Li was the first to react excitedly. “President Cai, are you joking?”
Fu Ankang frowned and looked coldly at Cai Zeming.
That’s not how you bargain. The project’s net profit was in the billions, and he had already spent several hundred million in upfront costs.
There was no way he would transfer the project for five million.
“I’ve already invested one billion to secure the Twin Peaks project.”
Fu Ankang sipped his tea calmly. “President Cai, if you want me to transfer it, the price should at least be doubled, right?”
“One million.”

Cai Zeming sat silently and uttered the amount, causing Fu Ankang to frown.
“Looks like you’re not here to discuss cooperation today, President Cai.”
“Why not?”
Cai Zeming chuckled lightly. “I want to know which is more important—the Twin Peaks project or your life, Fu Ankang.”
“Are you threatening me?” Fu Ankang’s eyes narrowed.
“This isn’t a threat. It’s a choice.”
After saying that, Cai Zeming gave a subtle signal to the bearded monk beside him.
The “flower-picking” hand gesture shifted instantly.
Both men smiled slyly at that moment.
Chen Fan sipped his tea and shook his head slightly.
Daring to cast a mind-confusing spell in front of him with such a trivial trick—wasn’t that just trying to make him laugh?
Could that spell even work on him here?
“President Cai, I want to know how you plan to make me lose my life,” Fu Ankang said coldly.
Xiao Li beside him was already on guard.
“This is the Kusa Master I spent a fortune to bring over from Hong Kong,” Cai Zeming said with a faint smile. “Chairman Fu, I’ve made myself clear: if you don’t hand over the Twin Peaks project…”
“The Kusa Master will make it so you can neither live nor die.”
The Kusa Master pressed his palms together and bowed respectfully. “So be it.”
Fu Ankang immediately grew cautious, genuinely feeling a sense of dread.
But after a while, nothing happened.
“Kusa Master, start!” Cai Zeming urged impatiently.
The Kusa Master furrowed his brow and began forming hand seals.
“Rest assured, within moments, he will vomit yellow bile and suffer stomach cramps.”
Seeing their confidence, Fu Ankang grew even more anxious.
No one else spoke. Chen Fan just sipped his tea, a faint smile playing at the corners of his mouth.
Half a minute passed quickly. Fu Ankang instinctively touched his stomach.
“I’m fine, huh?” Fu Ankang laughed. “President Cai, I think you’ve been fooled.”
“Kusa Master, what are you doing?!” Cai Zeming exclaimed. “Aren’t you powerful?”
“This can’t be!” The Kusa Master panicked instantly. “How could my ‘Formless Reversal’ be useless?”
His gaze shifted sharply to Xiao Li, then to Chen Fan.
Two young men.
They couldn’t be fortunetellers!
Without hesitation, the Kusa Master made a hand seal toward Cai Zeming.
The next second, Cai Zeming bent over, unable to hold back as he vomited yellow bile violently.
“Stop... Master, stop now!”
“My spell hasn’t failed!”
The Kusa Master withdrew his spell and stared intently at Fu Ankang, his teeth grinding fiercely.
“Who! Who is protecting you?”
“Who broke the Grand Formation of Dragon’s Head Swallowing Tail?”
“Who lifted the curse for you?”
“It’s him!”
The Kusa Master pointed first at Xiao Li, then at Chen Fan.
Fu Ankang stood in shock. From the moment Cai Zeming began vomiting inexplicably, he knew…
The so-called Kusa Master was not lying.
And the one protecting him…
Fu Ankang couldn’t help but look at Chen Fan, calmly sipping tea.
“You! It’s you!”
The Kusa Master’s face twisted in hatred as he stared at Chen Fan. “You destroyed my ancestral feng shui, ruined my hair water! I will never forgive you!”
“As soon as you dared to interfere and protect the Fu family, you sealed your own death!”
Chen Fan set down the half-full teacup and said calmly, “Is that all you’ve got?”
The Kusa Master was about to retort but suddenly doubled over, vomiting yellow bile uncontrollably.
“My Formless Reversal…!”
His spell hadn’t affected Fu Ankang but had backfired onto himself.
He had lost the duel utterly!
“Who are you?”
Chen Fan stood up, a faint smile lingering on his lips. “Chen Fan.”
“Chen? Chen Fan! You are… Chen Fan!” The Kusa Master’s pupils contracted sharply.
