Upon hearing Qin Tian’s words, Zong Wu immediately knelt down. “Thank you, Young Master, for your gracious favor. I vow to serve you loyally unto death.” He then took out his weapon schematics and respectfully handed them to Qin Tian. Qin Tian resumed his forging once more.
Elsewhere, after returning to Haotian City, Xiao Zhan immediately entered the palace to meet with Empress Bing Xuan. He reported the situation and stated his request. Empress Bing Xuan was greatly shocked upon hearing the news. Imperial-grade weapon forgers were exceedingly rare throughout Central Continent.
She then produced three spirit herbs and handed them to Xiao Zhan. After all, Xiao Zhan was considered one of her trusted relatives. After Xiao Zhan took his leave, Empress Bing Xuan murmured Qin Tian’s name to herself and suddenly recalled something. It seemed that the one who had helped Qing Qing and the others escape was indeed Qin Tian. She quickly summoned Mu Qingqing's guardian to investigate if it was truly him.
Xiao Zhan first went home to find his daughter, Xiao Meng. He planned to have her accompany him to deliver the spirit herbs and have her stay in Qingyun City in hopes of attracting Qin Tian’s attention. After all, his daughter was one of the most stunning beauties in the Haotian Empire. And Qin Tian, no matter how formidable, was still a man. Since ancient times, heroes have been paired with beauties.
If his daughter could get close to him, the Xiao family would truly take off. When Xiao Zhan and Xiao Meng returned to the Yijing Painting Studio, Qin Tian’s forging was nearing completion. The two watched quietly without disturbing him.
The more Xiao Meng looked at Qin Tian, the more handsome she found him, until admiration blossomed in her heart. As an imperial-grade forger and a sovereign-level powerhouse, combined with his striking looks, he perfectly embodied her ideal soulmate. Xiao Zhan noticed his daughter’s expression and smiled. It was even better that she liked him.
As the saying goes, “A woman pursuing a man is like a thin veil.” Suddenly, a strange phenomenon appeared again—the imperial weapon was successfully forged. Xiao Zhan was astonished once more because Qin Tian had succeeded in forging imperial weapons twice in a row.
From what he knew, other imperial-grade forgers might only manage to forge once every few months, with a high failure rate. Forging five or six times to achieve one success was considered excellent. Otherwise, imperial weapons in the Central Continent wouldn't be so rare.
After finishing, Qin Tian handed the imperial weapon directly to Zong Wu. Then he said to Qian Xue, “Don’t envy. Just cultivate diligently. As long as you follow me and reach the sovereign realm, you will have imperial weapons too.”

Qian Xue smiled sweetly. “I will definitely work hard in my cultivation.” After Qin Tian finished speaking, Xiao Zhan quickly stepped forward to hand over the three imperial-grade lower-tier spirit herbs to Qin Tian, then pulled Xiao Meng over and said, “Do you need someone to serve tea and water here? What do you think of my daughter? She has fair skin, exquisite beauty, and is gentle and charming. She ranks among the top three beauties in the Haotian Empire.”
“Dad!” Xiao Meng shyly called out, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Beside them, Qian Xue pouted, feeling her position as a maid threatened. She bit her lip and said, “I’m the young master’s maid. Serving tea and water is my duty.”
The atmosphere turned awkward for a moment. Suddenly, Qin Tian felt the temperature in the small building drop. He knew this was a warning signal from An Miaoling, so he resolutely refused, “I appreciate your kindness, but I do not need a maid here.”
Xiao Zhan and Xiao Meng felt somewhat disappointed and then bade Qin Tian farewell. After leaving the Yijing Painting Studio, Xiao Zhan told his daughter, “You should find a place to stay in Qingyun City and take it slow.”
“As the saying goes, ‘A woman pursuing a man is like a thin veil.’ You’re so beautiful; sooner or later, he will like you.”
“Mm!” Xiao Meng responded shyly.
Inside the Yijing Painting Studio, An Miaoling descended, displeased. “If I hadn’t warned you, were you really going to accept her?”
Qin Tian replied seriously, “Am I that kind of person?”
An Miaoling raised her brows in complaint, “I’m glad to have you. You can serve your master tea and water, and give massages too.”
She frowned and scolded, “You’re just like this. If I hadn’t come, maybe you’d already have a mistress.” With that, she left, leaving Qin Tian alone, quietly shaking his head.
Meanwhile, Empress Bing Xuan received confirmation that the Qin Tian who assisted Mu Qingqing was indeed the same man. After verifying this, she made a decision—to have Mu Qingqing leave seclusion and seek out Qin Tian. If a romance blossomed between them, it would be even better; then she would become the mother-in-law of an imperial-grade forger.
...
Sword Concealment Peak.
Bai Xiaoru, who was cultivating atop the mountain, suddenly opened her eyes. She had received a voice transmission from her younger sister, Bai Xiaoxiao, indicating that her sister had arrived in Eastern Continent.
Thinking of her sister, a look of excitement crossed her face. She and her sister were very close; in fact, she had practically raised her when they were young.
Recalling how heart-wrenchingly her sister had cried before her departure, she still felt a pang of guilt. After being away so long, her sister must have been worried sick.
With this in mind, she was eager to reunite. After confirming the location with her sister, she quickly made her way there, finally finding her near the boundary of the Two Realms Mountains.
At that moment, both women couldn’t help but cry. If not for the soul stone Bai Xiaoru had bound remaining intact, confirming her safety, Bai Xiaoxiao would have rushed out to find her long ago.
Bai Xiaoxiao tearfully explained, “A few days ago, a group of powerful experts came to Qingqiu to raise accusations.”
“They suspected our sect because the soul stones of those searching for you in Central Continent were all shattered.”
“They nearly fought, but thankfully the Dragon Clan mediated.”
“They said they would send people again to Central Continent to look for you, so I secretly came to warn you.”
Bai Xiaoru’s expression changed. “You came secretly? Did you encounter anyone?”
Seeing Bai Xiaoru’s grim look, Bai Xiaoxiao nodded helplessly.
Bai Xiaoru explained, “If they suspect Qingqiu’s involvement, they would naturally monitor the sect. You’re a semi-Saint sneaking out; how could they not notice? They must be following you.”
Upon hearing this, Bai Xiaoxiao’s face went pale, and she burst into tears. Bai Xiaoru embraced her and started running, but just as they set off, a gray-robed man at the second sovereign level blocked their path.
The man smiled, “Thanks to this little girl leading the way, finding you wasn’t easy.”
“Better come back obediently. The master misses you very much!”
“I’d rather die than go back with you!” Bai Xiaoru grit her teeth, then sacrificed her tail again.
Instantly, one of her tails exploded, transforming into a white light that enveloped her and Bai Xiaoxiao as they sped toward Central Continent. Only by going there to find Qin Tian did they have a sliver of hope.
On the road, Bai Xiaoru’s speed slowed due to carrying Bai Xiaoxiao, making it difficult to completely shake off the man. Bai Xiaoxiao felt frustrated and blamed herself for being too foolish.
With a tearful voice, she begged, “Sister, please leave me behind. You won’t escape with me.”
“Don’t speak. Maybe we’ll be saved once we reach Central Continent,” Bai Xiaoru replied.
