After arriving at the Hidden Sword Pavilion, Xu Ming immediately spotted An Miaoling. His eyes shone with undisguised admiration.
"Ancient bloodlines are truly extraordinary."
"At your age, you’ve already reached the second level of the Creation Realm."
Mo Wentian was also surprised upon hearing this. His proud disciple Yan Qingsi was seven or eight years older than An Miaoling, yet she had only attained the third level of the Nirvana Realm.
Reaching the second level of the Creation Realm was already on par with some peak sect leaders' cultivation.
"Would you be willing to become my closed-door disciple?" Xu Ming asked An Miaoling.
An Miaoling's expression turned displeased; after all, she still had her master!
Mo Wentian quickly introduced, "This is our sect’s ancient saint, who has secluded himself for many years."
"The ancient saint has never taken disciples before. You can seriously consider it, just think of it as gaining another teacher."
"I won’t consider it. I already have a master. Please leave," An Miaoling said coldly.
The smile on Xu Ming’s face vanished instantly, but seeing An Miaoling’s talent, he continued:
"Even if you have a master, it doesn’t matter. I wouldn’t mind."
For ordinary prodigies, he might not stoop to compete with juniors for disciples.
But this was the ancient bloodline of a great emperor.
Just as An Miaoling was about to continue refusing, Qin Tian approached.
"I don’t agree!"
Who was this? Xu Ming was displeased.
As the ancient saint of the holy realm, no one had ever spoken to him with such tone.
Mo Wentian awkwardly said, "This is An Miaoling’s master, Qin Tian."
"Master?" Xu Ming scrutinized Qin Tian.
"Spiritual Realm?"
He couldn’t understand why a master in the Creation Realm would be of the Spiritual Realm.
"Isn’t this nonsense?"
"A Spiritual Realm cultivator qualified to take disciples? How are you managing this sect?" Xu Ming angrily demanded.
Mo Wentian explained, "He was brought here by Sister Jiang. After she left, he became the peak leader of the Hidden Sword Peak, so..."
Xu Ming nodded slightly, his expression softening somewhat. He knew Jiang Qingxue. After her breakthrough, she had even come to meet him during his seclusion.
Without further attention to Qin Tian, he said to An Miaoling:
"I have no disciples. If you follow me, you will be my only disciple."
"I will teach you with care, and all cultivation resources will be provided."
"Staying here at Hidden Sword Peak will only hold you back."
An Miaoling remained unmoved. "I have a master. Please leave."
Repeated rejections angered Xu Ming.
Just as he was about to say more, Bai Xiaoru ran over.

Xu Ming’s pupils contracted sharply.
"How dare the Demon Emperor trespass into Kunlun Sword Sect!"
He drew a sword, ready to strike, but Bai Xiaoru quickly hid behind Qin Tian.
She was only at the first level of the Half-Saint Realm—not a match for Xu Ming.
"Step aside," Xu Ming commanded.
Qin Tian turned, picked up Bai Xiaoru, and said, "She is my contracted pet. Please don’t be so startled, elder."
Pet? The Demon Emperor as a pet?
Xu Ming and Mo Wentian stared in shock at the little fox in Qin Tian’s arms.
Bai Xiaoru nuzzled Qin Tian’s chest twice.
Qin Tian stroked the soft fur on her back.
After a long pause, Xu Ming and Mo Wentian finally recovered from their shock.
Xu Ming gave Qin Tian a thorough appraisal.
Handsome, but otherwise useless.
Could it be that because he was good-looking, the Demon Emperor and An Miaoling were willing to follow him?
He then used his holy realm secret art to probe carefully.
But he found he couldn’t see through Qin Tian at all.
That was because the system helped conceal Qin Tian’s realm, allowing him to develop quietly without drawing attention.
Since things were as such, Xu Ming felt staying here was pointless and turned to leave.
Mo Wentian informed Qin Tian about the Demon Saint’s plan to seize An Miaoling from Kunlun, then went after Xu Ming.
In the back mountains, Xu Ming pondered, "There’s something strange about this guy. I can’t read him."
Mo Wentian paused, then fell into thought.
"There really is something odd. My disciple saw An Miaoling grasping sword intent under Qin Tian’s guidance."
Xu Ming sighed, "Let’s put the Hidden Sword Peak matter aside for now. The priority is still to deal with the Golden Dragon Demon Saint."
At the Hidden Sword Peak, An Miaoling complained, "Master, can’t you improve your cultivation level? You always cause me trouble."
Qin Tian said bitterly, "I’m just afraid that if I reveal my strength, Old Mo will fill Hidden Sword Peak with a flood of disciples."
"Would you be comfortable with a bunch of people swarming here?"
An Miaoling thought about it and agreed.
Because Qin Tian was weak, no one wanted to come to Hidden Sword Peak. If he grew stronger, many disciples would flock here.
Especially those infatuated female disciples—just thinking about it made her uncomfortable.
"Then forget it. Let’s keep a low profile in the future," An Miaoling said.
Then she remembered the Demon Saint and grew worried.
"Can the ancient saint defeat the Golden Dragon Demon Saint?"

Qin Tian replied, "Probably not. The dragon clan has a huge advantage in physical strength."
"But don’t worry. If things get bad, I’m here."
"Mm!" An Miaoling recalled the spirit summoned by the Time-Space Token before.
Its power could definitely rival the holy realm.
After news of the Demon Saint’s attack spread, the entire sect grew tense.
After all, the holy realm was a legendary existence in their hearts.
The next day, Penglai and Taibai Sect both sent powerful reinforcements.
The three sects discussed battle strategies through the night.
After planning, they set up numerous formations.
The third day arrived. Almost everyone was on edge, awaiting the demon army’s arrival.
At dusk, the sun dimmed, becoming a blazing orb hanging in the west, bathing the entire Eastern Continent in red light.
At that moment, the demon army finally came.
The three sect leaders of Kunlun Sword Sect, Taibai Sect, and Penglai stood at the forefront.
Behind them stood nearly fifty peak leaders and elders—all Creation Realm experts.
The demon side was a dense black mass.
Leading were the three great Demon Emperors, followed by more than sixty demon kings.
Above them hovered a golden sedan chair, pulled by four bird-like demon kings.
Mo Wentian and the others looked up at the sedan with grave expressions.
They sensed a terrifying aura emanating from within.
But knowing their ancient saint was watching from the shadows, they relaxed slightly.
The Azure Roc Demon Emperor spoke, "Where is the one with the ancient bloodline?"
"Hurry and surrender them. We still can negotiate, or else Kunlun Sword Sect will be wiped out."
"You furry beasts, do you think the three sects fear your demon clan?"
Mo Wentian retorted fiercely, and tensions mounted rapidly.
"Kill!"
A command came from within the golden sedan chair.
Upon hearing the order, the three Demon Emperors charged without hesitation.
The three Demon Emperors fought the three sects’ Half-Saint cultivators, while below, Creation Realm experts battled demon kings.
At first, the fight was even, but as time passed, the sects’ Creation Realm cultivators struggled to hold.
Because they were outnumbered, more and more Creation Realm experts fell.
The situation was dire.
Just then, An Miaoling arrived.
Since the demons’ main target was her, she could no longer remain uninvolved.
