Chapter 60: If You've Got a Gripe, Come Find Me in Tsim Sha Tsui!
For some unknown reason, to be completely honest, every time Da Song laid eyes on this uncle-figure, he felt an instinctive, bone-deep dread that left him somewhat breathless. How should he put it? It felt just like a petty thief running straight into a law officer, and getting caught red-handed in the act—an indescribable, unsettling terror! Lao Wan looked at him with a troubled expression. "You're always so polite with me. How are we supposed to get along like this?" Da Song stammered, opening and closing his mouth, "Un-Uncle Wan?" "There," Lao Wan finally smiled. "That's more like it!" "Right, some folks from my hometown are arriving tonight," Lao Wan said, giving his shoulder a familiar pat. "How about you come with me to pick them up?" Broken-Finger Song: "Understood, Mr. Wan..." Lao Wan put on a stern face. "Call me Uncle!" Beads of sweat covered Da Song's forehead. "Understood, Uncle Wan. I'll go arrange the vehicles. How many people are coming?" Lao Wan thought for a moment. "Around a dozen or so. Handle it however you see fit." Da Song pondered for a moment, then looked up and said, "There's a building right behind here. Would it be suitable to accommodate them there?" "Heh, anything works," Lao Wan said with a smile as he looked at him. "Go take care of it. I trust your work." Liu Haizhu, Luo Yingsi, Luo Nini, and that utterly shameless freeloader Gang. The four of them first headed to the pet market, where Yingsi's sharp eyes picked out a purebred juvenile Bengal leopard cat. Good grief, a tiny kitten actually cost a solid thirty thousand! The eldest daughter of a wealthy landowner certainly had money... Stinking rich... Back in his hometown, that kind of money could build two two-story houses... As they bought the cat, Ah Gang muttered under his breath incessantly. "Look at your precious second uncle!" A buzzing sound kept ringing by Liu Haizhu's ear like a pesky mosquito. Annoyed, he cursed back, "Didn't Yingsi just buy a cat? Did it eat the rice in your house? Did it cost you a single penny?!" "Damn it!" Ah Gang retreated in defeat, sending the two sisters into bursts of giggling laughter. The afternoon was still young, and the group drove straight to the Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens located on Albany Road. Today wasn't the weekend, so there weren't many people around, but little Nini was extremely enthusiastic. One moment she was teasing the cat in her sister's arms, and the next she was pressing against the cages to look at all sorts of rare animals. "Wahahaha!" Luo Xiaoni pointed toward the tiger enclosure ahead and shouted, "Look, look, there's a big tiger up front!" "Let's go." Liu Haizhu smiled and reached out to take the cat from Yingsi's arms. There was truly a reason things were expensive; this little cat was utterly adorable, milky-soft, and as pretty as a leopard. Yingsi instantly put on a cold face. "Not giving it to you." "Haha!" Liu Haizhu forced a laugh and scratched his head, trying to make himself look a little less awkward. "Brother-in-law, carry me." Just as Liu Haizhu reached out his hands, Ah Gang was quicker, scooping her up in one swift motion. He skillfully heaved her onto his shoulder and swaggered, "Nini, look at these muscles of mine. Sitting here is like a soft cushion—isn't this much more comfortable?" "Haha," Liu Haizhu scratched his head like a madman and pointed at a nearby water stall. "Uh, I'm going to buy some water." "Let me go!" Nini panicked, jumped straight down from Ah Gang's shoulder, and ran over in a few steps to grab Liu Haizhu's sleeve. "Brother-in-law, I'll go with you." "Alright, alright," the bumpkin's eyes crinkled almost completely shut with a smile. On the shaded pathways of the zoo, the Crown Prince of Hung Lok was currently strolling along, keeping company with a Japanese AV idol whose name was something like Ruka Ono. She looked ethereal and fairy-like, bearing a striking resemblance to Qiu Shuzhen from God of Gamblers II. The two of them were strolling affectionately through the park, whispering sweet nothings to each other. Hearing a voice, the Crown Prince whipped his head around. Near the tiger enclosure, Luo Xiaoni was hopping with joy... "Wow, look, Brother-in-law! One, two, five of them! Look how fat those tigers are!" "Yeah, yeah..." Liu Haizhu chimed in absentmindedly, his gaze continually drifting toward the little creature in Yingsi's arms. The little thing had only been born a few days ago, yet right now it kept burrowing into Sister Yingsi's embrace. Heh, don't you fucking know this is my territory??? Suddenly, the bumpkin felt a chill run down his spine! "Fast!" It was too fast! Before Liu Haizhu could react, he whirled around and threw himself in front of Yingsi! "Ah!!!" Little Nini was terrified out of her wits, and immediately afterward, a piercing scream pierced the clouds. In an instant, Liu Haizhu felt the world spin wildly... It was as if he had been tossed upward by a steady, immensely powerful pair of hands! A fierce sense of weightlessness washed over him! With his eyes wide, Liu Haizhu plummeted with a whoosh straight down into the deep tiger enclosure. Ah Gang felt as though his eye sockets were about to split open. "Crown Prince, what the fuck are you doing!" "Thud!" A dull, heavy impact. Fortunately, the soil in the tiger enclosure was damp, otherwise Liu Haizhu would have taken a horrific fall! "Boom!" A large crater was smashed directly into the ground, terrifying the tigers nearby so badly that their fur stood completely on end! Ah Gang trembled with rage. "Crown Prince, stabbing someone in the back like a coward makes you no hero!" "Oh?" The Crown Prince brushed aside Luo Xiaoni, who was beating and kicking him, and looked at Luo Yingsi with utter bewilderment. The meaning behind his look was painfully clear: What is my brother lacking compared to him??? Ah Gang's face flushed red with fury, his neck veins bulging. "Speak, you motherfucker!" The Crown Prince rolled his neck, his own temper seemingly flaring up, and pointed at Ah Gang, cursing, "So I ambushed him, what about it? You got a problem?" Ah Gang leaped into the air and roared, "I fucking have a problem!" The Crown Prince's face darkened. "Bring it on!" Ah Gang's entire body surged with energy as he bellowed, "...Taste my Great Horn!!!" Roaring at the top of his lungs, his entire aura billowing around him like a charging locomotive, he hurled himself straight at the Crown Prince. "Hoh, a reckless ox!" The Crown Prince's lips curled in a mocking sneer, and he vanished from the spot like a phantom blur. Immediately afterward, the Crown Prince extended an arm and snatched the still-rushing Ah Gang right out of mid-air by the back of his collar. "Thud, thud, thud!" The Crown Prince's hands transformed into countless sharp afterimages... beating the living daylights out of the guy from every conceivable 360-degree angle, land, sea, and air without a single blind spot! "Ah, ah, ah! Watch me..." Ah Gang was still roaring and struggling. "Lightning..." The Crown Prince stared coldly. "Watch your fucking mom! Lightning your mom's..." "...Thud, thud..." "...Thud, thud, thud!" Liu Haizhu had just crawled out of the crater and was staring blankly at the tigers standing before him. Out of nowhere... "Thud!" Another massive crash echoed, and that bruised and battered idiot Ah Gang tumbled down from above, landing right beside him and blasting an even larger crater into the earth. As if sensing something, Liu Haizhu looked up. Standing on the ledge above, the ragged-haired youth was looking down at him from above. This fellow didn't seem to harbor any malicious intent toward Yingsi, did he? Seeing this, Liu Haizhu felt slightly more at ease. Frowning, the Crown Prince looked down at him and cursed with a laugh, "So you're the motherfucker they call Iron Monkey? Fuck your mother, even Sun Wukong has attained Buddhahood, where the hell did you pop out from?!" "Awooo!" "Roar, roar!" ... Down below were the low-growling tigers, and up above stood that arrogant figure. Liu Haizhu stood firmly in his spot, the fierce murderous intent in his heart steadily rising! ... "Stay away from little Ying!" the Crown Prince said from his vantage point with a look of supreme disdain. "Otherwise I'll beat you up again!" Liu Haizhu glared upward and cursed, "Fuck your mother!" "You!!!" The Crown Prince's expression shifted drastically, and without a second thought, he prepared to leap down. However, the Japanese girl beside him grabbed his sleeve, tears welling in her eyes, and pleaded, "Master, please don't, please don't do it!" "Hmph!" The Crown Prince wrapped an arm around her and let the matter drop. When it was time to leave, the Crown Prince whistled with a smirk on his face, feeling as though he had just done a solid favor for his brother Nan. But before walking away, he still shouted down one last sentence: "I am Crown Prince of Hung Lok! If you've got a problem with it, come find me in Tsim Sha Tsui!"
